In this short clip I demonstrate how to easily re-order your ServiceNow list layouts using the personalize list functionality.
Using the GRC Content table as an example where I want to group by Class as an extension, this will show me all the Risk Statements, Control Objectives and Citations in one place, with minimal clicks.
Open any list in ServiceNow
Click the List Mechanic to personalise your list
Review the current options
Select multiple items at once, using either Shift+Click or Click+Drag , or other mouse/key shortcuts
Use the order up or order down buttons to move that selection
You can easily move one item to the other side of any selection
You can use this approach to reorder if you tackle in chunks but I find it most useful when I add a new field and want it in a specific position.
ps. This concept also applies to re-ordering any slushbucket, such as form sections too!
