It's official, if you put epic music behind any kind of event even between two players playing a video game, it just makes that event feel epic. Just imagine if you put this kind of music behind young kids who are about to go on a ester egg hunt and have commentary before hand on who is the favorite to find the most chocolate. Can anyone else imagine serral in this situation as a kid with such a serious face, lol.

This shows why you don't commit to both bio and mech, just the amount of production and tech you have to get just to transition will not leave you enough to build a standing army.

​@@Bigger_SUVs_to_increase_Swaag I meant having about 4 liberators in fighter mode, not defender mode. Locusts are light bio units, so technically they should be very weak against liberators while they are in the air. But then again, you only need to spread your swarmhosts.

Nice idea to shoot Locus with Liberators in air, never saw someone do that. If caught early, they might get all of them & push away swarm hosts with scan or a raven

Trash talk doesn't come naturally to Finns. We're bit too reserved and self concious to put others down. We're much more likely to be critical of ourselves than others. Combine that with the e-sport culture in general where trash talk is not exactly a favored way of behaviour. Sure, Idra made a career out of it, but it's arguable that it was fully an act, don't know. Then again he is American where trash talk is a lot more prominent.

Here come the comments about OP zerg. When in reality Serral is just killing it right now. His timing, micro, macro, and decision making are all on point. You don't win multiple international tournaments in one year by being a slouch. Anyone who says the game is unbalanced: stop whining. if it were so unbalanced then more pros would play and win as the allegedly OP race. 2018 WCS Valencia: 1 zerg in top 4 ; 2 zergs in top 8. 2018 WCS Austin: 2 zergs in top 4; 3 zergs in top 8. Go back in tournament history. If a race is truly OP, the balance team takes care of it quite quickly. stop whining because a race you don't like has a different play style and different choices that make it difficult.

swarm hosts are stupid overpowered when you can make them ignore units/buildings and jump strait ontop of tanks. Makes mech useless and tanks in generall useless.

thats why you put the units that are supposed to tank for the tanks around the tanks instead of just off in left field. many pros have been able to do this well. just because HeroMarine sucks doesn't mean anything.

Zerg has a counter to everything, it would seem. Quite overpowered imo. and I haven't played in a couple years, so I'm not biased

You have to remember that right now, Serral IS the best non-Korean in the world. You really need someone like Maru to take him down, or something. Heromarine, Showtime, Nerchio? Pfft... not a chance. Well, maybe that's a bit unfair, but seriously, Serral is a monster. If you look at his other TvZ's you'll quickly understand why. He really does take the Zerg mentality and like a swarm of ants ripping apart a bee, he tears his opponents up nibble at a time, until he has reached critical mass and just overwhelms his opponent. If you let Serral just take over the map with creep and hatcheries, you're never going to have a good time. You need to do something to throw him off balance and not just leave him unchecked.

literally every race has counters to everything. thats how the game is designed. but hey, if Zerg is so overpowered, show me what any zerg not named serral did this year after the Hatch drop tech was nerfed?

Meh, what a boring match. That Heromareen is so outclassed it is painful to watch. No scouting, no harass, no adapting wacky strategies to shake up the game. Just does the same boring mech tech and loses unsurprisingly. What is he even doing in a WCS?

I hate it when a Zerg player being champion. Zerg units tech up so OP even they are hard to manage, it counter everything without getting easily countered. What makes me want to watch is someone as Toss or Terr be good enough to beat Zerg guy like Serral.

I think personally that they are pretty balanced, sure they can spam units but some splash damage will rip through zerg units pretty easily if they're left untreated.
