Nice one, Jeff. Is that clutch bell play normal for GT? On buggies I remember setting it much tighter. Also no thread lock on the bell nut? Can you do a series on general 8th scale GT racing? No much content on YT for GT cars although we have good racing and also the recent Worlds. I have been in off road for a while, but now getting into GT. Love to see more GT specific content

Hi Jeff. I used this video and set the spring to 1.2 and second changed perfect. This is my second Spring on this clutch and they are only coming at 9.84mm after an initial squeeze. My first spring was less than 9.8mm when new. Will this just burn out my clutch shoes quicker? I havent seen a spring 10.15 or 10.2mm yet. Just curious what you mean by 9.8mm or less=garbage. Do you have any tips for the gearbox assembly? I’m having problems with the 2nd speed clutch, it’s getting stuck and making the housing oval. Happened twice, then it locks in second gear. I already have the xli 2 system, which is theoretically better.

What body are you running on the GT car at the end of the video?

This clutch is not a clutch shoe to push the tapered to connect the clutch bell, just the clutch shoe connection clutch bell?

Intune RC Insize manufacture the gauge itself, the brass piece is custom for measuring the clutch. I know of some being made currently, I will share once available 👍
