I've said it before and I will say it again. First Lady Serita Jakes is one of the most beautifully elegant and gentle spirits in the Christian community. She is a rare jewel. Love her style. Great example to women.

@Breezy B It is the responsibility of older women to teach younger women and older men to teach the young men. That goes for age as well as older in thr LORD. Also, JESUS commanded believers to go into all the world and preach the gospel and make disciples. Mentoring is another way of saying disciple making or training. Also, Galations talk about tutors and governors. It's biblical.

Her voice is calming.. Her heart is open... Stern yet sensitive... she leads & loves.. Amen 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

One of the most graceful first ladies on the planet.So unique definitely a gift from GOD. A woman of God to glean from. Even her name is sweet and gracious SERITA.

TD Jake's is Mighty Man of God He's A Preachers Preacher but He's also has An anointed Mighty Woman of God By His side 1st Lady Jake's is Qwite the kind of 1st. I Love and admire, Serita Jake's so very much. Those characteristics she pointed out, that made her who she is as a "First Lady." of the Potter House. She said, strength, openness, confidence, and sharing of yourself. You are under a microscope, especially by other women, that are Judgemental, Envious, and Critical, and you have to sat publicly knowing this, her Truths, shines through. WOG, I Salute You. In my opinion, I feel that she is the "Esther" of our time. And every Pastor's Wife, can take a few Nuggets from her. Classy, Poised, Strength, and Truth!!! She RECOGNIZE, the Source, of her Empowerment, she states, "The Lord is the strength of my life!" I saw some of that power demonstrated in a service, she was ministering, and seen an unfamiliar spirit, what the Bible calls a spirit in a person that's not acting normal. (For those who are not, familiar with the term), Serita, walks down off the stage and commands that spirit "to come out of the man", by the Holy Spirit,and it did. She didn't whisper or say it gentle, she spoke with authority!! Powerful Interview!!💜❤👌

Lady Jakes seems like a very nice person. So sweet

To watch her mother personally minister to her brother’s murderer (during his demise) seems unreachable (for me). However, “we can do all things through Christ that strengtheneth us!” 🙏🏽💚

To God be the glory for all that He has done, is doing & will continue to do in His beautiful daughter, First Lady Serita Jakes. She is an example to women everywhere of what God can do in our lives when we yield & submit to Him. She admitted herself that she wasn't always this way back when she trusted in her own way of handling life, but when she chose to put her trust in the One whom her mother trusted in, her life began to change & God was able to cause her life to radiate into the beautiful flower that it is today & be a blessing & inspiration to other women. Plus God wanted His great man of God, Bishop Jakes to have this kind of wife. Our God is always faithful even when things are not looking the way that we want them to, our job is to continue to stand & trust our God knowing that Jesus has already perfected everything that concerns us. Lady Jakes is grace personified.

She has that Charles Stanley type of voice where you feel safe and loved. If I would have grown up with a mother- I would have wanted her to be like this... I love how she is. I've never seen her try to take over the church, or do too much. She loves her husband- I saw her over the years say things that made me see that I need to do better as a wife and I want to do better. I grew up Totally different... I pray the Lord really, really blesses her in Jesus name.
