My friend just had a baby on the 23rd and named her boy Atlas! I love it but I’m a little upset because i love the nick name addi for one of my future girls and she’s using the nick name attie

Omg, I screamed when you said Thaddeus - that’s our number one boys name. I love Theodore but hubby thought it was too common so Thaddeus was a no brained for us.

Oh my Goodness! So excited to hear Thaddeus on this list! My Thaddeus Wade was born last year. Nicknamed Teddy.

Currently pregnant with a boy and several of my names on my list are on this list and I think it definitely pushed me more towards a few!

I was a huge fan of the US soap box show… All My Children. Thadeus Martin was one of my favorite character. They called him “Tad the Cad” ha. He was a hunk!

I just watched this and I really love both Zale and Larkin.

The TV show Normal People was actually adapted from Sally Rooney’s novel of the same name. In the book, she spells his name Connell - with a double n and an e instead of the a. This spelling has Scottish origins and also has the meaning ‘strong wolf’. Both versions though are beautiful! ✨

So many of my faves on this list!! 🤩😍

Zale is so interesting, my last name is Zaleschuk and some family shorten it to just Zales. Zenith I quite like too, my dad is Zane, with the double Z so I’ve always found Z names really wearable. Fletcher is a fav of mine too!

My little cousin is Isaac. 💖 Hugo, Thaddeus, Lars, Almas (I didn't even know there was a masculine for of Alma!) and Fletcher are all so lovely! Athens is intriguing as a place name, I've seen increasing love for names like Galilee, Verona, Delphi and Rhodes, so why not Athens? Zale I can see appealing to a lot of parents, though it does immediately make me think of Zale's "The Diamond Store."

Love this list ❤️ We have a boy named Ezekiel and a girl named Deborah (DeBOrah). Thaddeus would be a great choice for our 3rd baby boy whom I gave birth to on August 18th and still haven't named yet... The name we both like and are almost ready to choose is Nathaniel which means: a gift from God - very suitable for our baby boy, he's a true gift from God just as his siblings. We live in Denmark so our children's name are not common at all - in fact we know no one named as our children here.

Love the name Thaddeus so much loved it for years. Husband doesn't like it though. Had a little boy last year went with the name Sebastian. Do love those long boy names ❤❤

I just gave birth to my beautiful baby boy on the 20th of September. We chose the the name Vaughn!

My little boy is named after his grandad, Felix. It means happy or lucky and I can confirm he is both!! . It seems much more popular now than when we named him x

What do you think of Jude as a nickname for Julia?! I don’t know why I haven’t thought of this before! I absolutely love the name Jude, but I like the end of my baby names to match (boy’s ending in -er, girl’s ending in -ia), I also have bad associations with the typical nicknames for Julia.

Some thoughts I wrote down whilst watching: I really like Conall and it's lupine meaning! The meaning of Thaddeus is lovely, but sound wise it doesn't appeal to me, I find it a bit like 'thudding' 🤷 Almas is really, really sweet and my favourite from this video ♥️ I like Lennan with this spelling for a girl! It reminds me of Liadan. Athens is cool. My contributions are Oisin (osh-een) meaning little deer, Roscoe meaning deer forest and Arlen/Arley meaning 'from the rabbit meadow' which I think is so sweet!

My daughter is called Emiah which we pronounce Em-mee-ah but she does get em-my-ah sometimes. Just from you saying how you would pronounce jebediah.

My Reuben is 17. We love the name!

I've always pronounce it kinda rhyming with took, but I hear eye-zac here in NZ quite a bit too.

Athens is lovely! I wonder what the nickname would be… Thenny? Siblings Athens and Albany. I know a 40+ old man called Reuben and he is known as Ruby. Zales is a national diamond retailer in the US - heavily associated with a brand. I grew up with a (now) woman called Larkin, and it’s always been a favorite for me. Rio is lovely 🥰 Fio is a name I love, but don’t know the meaning or if it exists at all, but Rio is a great alternative. Plenty of babies called River!

“Bae” is funny because in the US bae is something you can call your boyfriend or girlfriend, short for babe or baby. If you Google it it’s say it’s a acronym for “before anyone else”, but I’ve never met someone who would describe it as that and most would disagree with that origin and laugh.

Lars does seem super Scandinavian to me because Lars was the name of a super popular ice bear book here in Germany and I make the mental leap from ice bear to north somewhere. Totally disagree on Bae though. Hate that it’s a couples nick name (he’s my bae) for my generation (late teens / mid twenties). Usually associate it with trashy couples to be honest so that would be a big no-go for me. Like calling your child honey or baby

Really liking Conall and it's meaning. Think I like Thaddeus too - reminds me of Thayer which I also love. Whilst not a fan of the Bae spelling I do really like Bay. Athens is a really cool, different one! My Mum's family is from there. Zale is lovely & Rio has really been growing on me more lately. I really dislike the name Thaddeus, it’s the name of the demon Frankenstein baby from American horror story season 1. That thing was terrifying and it’s the only thing I think of when I hear the name!

Almas is a great name and must be gender neutral. I know one Almas who is a woman.

The audio is not good at all, too much echo. 🙉 Love Hugo or Ugo!

I’m Swedish and we actually *typically* don’t spell Isaac that way. It is more common to spell it Isak or Isac because we don’t drag out on the extra a😁🥰
