They are just worried of a lawsuit. I would be furious!! Like you haven’t been through enough!!😡

Please use your own understanding and refuse treatment if it is what it is. It's normal for these mistakes to happen in today's hectic medical world, and you don't have to put aside your own objections and trust yourself and your own judgment. It's a simple fact and even 10 doctors can be wrong if they work long shifts and have far too many patients and the pressure from their superiors to get quick results. Wish you all the best.

My 1st major back surgery : the Surgeon performed the wrong surgery which landed me in an emergency major spinal surgery 5 months post op. I was in such a bad mental state, my disability Judge advised me to sue, but I didn’t and regret not doing so as he performed numerous “ Wrong Spinal Surgeries “on many after me. But thank God for keeping you free of a really bad reaction. I am so glad that you get a free pass home for Your special day and for Charlie’s Birthday. I pray that all goes well and your past the worse of the reaction( which should not have happened) the hospital shouldn’t charge you for any test, meds etc. due to the Huge Misktake they made. OMG....what a horrible ordeal. So sorry you had to experience this. Total lack of communication! Even after you told them you were suppose to have the dye solution orally! Stupid doctors. Maybe you can get one of those medical bracelets that says what you are allergic to and wear at all times. And if you have to go back in the hospital you can get a sharpie pen and write what you are allergic to on your arm....ha...that might be a bit too much, but you have to make sure this nevers happens again. It does, but the IV do damage my liver and kidneys every time I get it. So having it still is a risk and can be life threatening even if it’s not a immediate reaction.

Oh, Jesus, I'm so sorry! I have severe allergies too, and it is so not good!! Best wishes for Malin and I hope they can get things under control sooner than later. Truly terrible, and these types of mistakes happen too often. I hate the hangover from all of the steroids, Benadryl, epinephrine, etc. It's truly miserable, but I've also been through it numerous times. Take care!!

Yesterday I had my first reaction to CT contrast and it was really scary! I have had 5 CT scans (3 with contrast) and a PET scan in the past 12 months due to cancer and other health issues, and I still need have to have a nuclear medicine bone scan and another CT scan, but my body is saying it has had enough. 😢 I am under the care of multiple specialists that wont work together and combine my scans or look at the results of previous scans (apparently its too hard for them to obtain them) so I have had to have repeat scans for different specialists. I have had a reaction and been exposed to too much radiation now so I need to advocate for myself. ❤

Love you guys so much, your positivity makes me smile. I’m praying for you guys from Tulsa Oklahoma USA.

So glad you got a diagnosis that is not sinister. So sorry you had to go through the IV stuff up.

I live in Pennsylvania in the USA. I learned I was allergic to all kinds of IV dye when I had my 1st procedure, stroked, and near died. FF 2022, I was needing scans for surgery and they insisted in xray I had to get IV benadryl and get the dye so they could do my heart procedure right. At 1st I refused, but my heart was bad so I did it. My breathing pipe began to close, rash, so on. The head of surgical department said I should not have had it no matter what. Thank God I'm alive. My kids want me to sue them all, but I'm just glad I made it. (And yes, suit is in process) I'm so sorry this happened to you!! They need to heed patients when we tell them this important information. Love, hugs, and prayers to you hon❤
