I'm all for anime being dubbed wherever possible, and I'm supporting it by buying products that contain a dub. Doesn't mean I have to watch it dubbed though...

The voice acting in this anime was sub par in both languages, ancient subtitles from the early 2000's wont fix that bro

When it comes to these blu rays note: the first disc IS a BD-50 and the second disc is BD-25. If you read a more detailed analysis of the set and the specs on blu-ray.com, you'll see that besides a brightness issue, these have the same "problems" the JPN BD set had, along with some unfixable banding issues mentioned in the bonus content that comes with this set.

He most likely used UP1USA. I did and it came in the same packaging. I highly recommend them for buying US imports as they ship as soon as they have the items in stock (So you get stuff early sometimes), items come quickly (Usually next day for me), and they ship from in the UK, so no extra charges.

Im glad that i have the pioneer release and this boxset, because otherwise i wouldn't be able to see the old crappy quality version anymore. :p

I got this in the mail yesterday, and I LOVE IT. Fantastic transfer considering the age of the show, and love the extras too. Probably the best anime set I've ever bought.

If you stop caring about dubs then english distribution companies will stop making them thus LOSING the fans who actually care about the dubs. Thus going under as a lack of sells. Support dubs. and multiple disk would be better as having 10-13 episodes on 1 disk can potentially cause the quality to suffer. Funimation just needs to stop being cheap asses with their BDs.
