I found it highly creative that someone like Will.I.Am would bossa nova rhythms, music originating in the urban areas of Rio De Janeiro by Afro-Brazilians. and combine it with music created in the urban areas of NYC by African Americans. A bridge was built and we are better for it

Love Sergio Mendes and his music and love this particular song! Love samba BUT I DON’T LIKE THE RAP MUSIC THAT WAS INCORPORATED TO THIS GREAT SONG! PLEASE DON’t MIX. One thing is to listen to great samba song and rhythm and another thing is to mix it with rap. It doesn’t hold together. Too bad for this change. It is a fiasco. I am glad I have in my IPhone the original song. If Sergio wants to change “his tune” to expand his music to attract younger audiences, he has done a terrible damaged. No, I will stick to the original song and rhythm without stupid the stupid Rap which is the best! Ashamed Sergio Mendes really ashamed!
