Bach fugues for keyboard seem to me to be good training for what you are talking about. I love your music, and Uarekena has become one of my favourites.

I dont think you have to really " look deep in yourself and know what your taste is, and thennknow what you are and then compose" (Im paraphrasing) My point is: Music, and all art really, can be so much more or so much less than what any one of us choses to constrain it as. So i say, guve yourself permission to do things you dont understand, and things you hate, or things which are even very simple . Art, to me anyway, is about freedom and self expression, in a kind of pure sence because there are no such things as absolute mistakes, you decide exactly what you want to have happen, of course limited by your abuility and imagination.( but youd be surprised what your limit can be if you start fantasizing and trying to play or paint difficult things) The reason im saying this is, because oftain times for me, i have tended to limit myown imagination , thinking things like " oh but its not a part of my own style, it looks too much like this, too much like that" but its like, well im having fun arent i? Yes. Then, carry on, there is nothing wrong with it. . This is not to say that there is not a definate value to originality, because there is, but that is for each person to discover for themselves . Have a good day

Alot of guitar students read music very well? I'm sure he's only referring to classical guitar peeps. The rest of us YOLO-ists either just play by ear, chord charts, and TAB. :) hehe.

He's referring to guitar students who formally study it. One learns to read in music school quite early.

The small minded arrogance for you to think you are gifting the world with your magical belief system by posting a completely out of context blurb is astounding.
