Listened to this work many times on CD, but it's not until you actually see it being played that you realise how much physical energy it requires. A fine performance by these two musicians.

Wonderful. 3rd movement I'm not bothered how this excellent movement is played. Here it's fast. That's fine. Very nice. The performance is the best I've ever heard of this work. I know that this two women are very good playing their respective instruments, but sorry, the only word it comes to me when I hear them playing this piece is "chaos". Ritmically very caprichious, too rustic (when the cello plays the pizzicati I hear only noise) and a very unpleasant cello sound, rigid and pressed (easy to see the muscles of Ms. Gabetta very tense). It seems also that they didn't rehearse enough together the piece. Sorry, not good for me.
