Excellent fight. Yarde is talented and still inexperienced, Kovalev great recovery and great boxing. That was touch and go at one point.

Love Yarde, he’s a nice guy, blew himself out going for the finish, good learning curve for him, shame he got stopped, but he’s a relatively inexperienced fighter whose entertaining in and out of the ring.

Canelo's resume is looking all the better lately. Liam Smith just destroyed Eubank JR. Meanwhile some people were trying to not give Canelo credit for beating champ Kovalev claiming he was washed just because Yarde tested him when Yarde also tested beast mode hyped Beterbiev. Matter of fact, if Beterbiev had a win over Kovalev it would be one of the top if not THE top win of his career but people somehow try to deny the smaller man Canelo credit.

Even though Kovalev was in the twilight of his career, Yarde gave an accounting of himself that he needn’t be ashamed of at all. Beterbiev is also on the backside of his career however he is so dangerous Yarde would be wise to avoid that match as long as possible. Of course the current LH Champion has a say in all this and it’s most likely he will take a Beterbiev fight 1st.

Kovalev was done at that stage of his career. If Yarde would have pressured him in the round after he had him hurt, he would have KO’ed him. Yarde better have better stamina if he wants to have any chance against Beterbiev.

Being jacked as much as Yard does, it looks like it’s nearly impossible to hit from different angles as well as keeping energy in late rounds. Have nothing against Yard however

I love Kovalev but Yard was so exhausted even my girlfriend would knock him out at the end!

Stupid take. Fixed so a novice who literally was beaten to a pulp didn’t have finish ability could lose to a significantly better fight? Lol why would it be fixed for the underdog to win

Yards is too too open for my liking as a boxer . Yards can be easily knocked out if he tangle with an urging boxer . No technique’s in skills and cunningness of understanding his own foot movement’s .
