PRIVATE CABANA 23 - In this video we talk about this cabana located on the adults only beach (Serenity Bay) on Disney Cruise Line’s private island, Castaway Cay. We tour the cabana, but also talk about how to reserve one and what to expect when you do reserve a private cabana on Serenity Bay.
This visit to Castaway Cay was part of our cruise on the Disney Dream in late September and early October 2022. This was a 5-Night Halloween on the High Seas Cruise that was supposed to be a double dip at Castaway Cay. However, we only got to stop here one time due to the outer bands of Hurricane Ian causing rough waters in the Bahamas.

We are brand new cruisers and we got this cabana for our trip in 2 weeks. We are not doing concierge but got very lucky last week when someone must have dropped it and we saw it and booked instantly. It’s our 40th Anniversary and we got absolutely everything we wanted for this trip on the Wish! Palo Brunch, Enchante Dessert, Royal Gathering and then this!!!! No, you do not pay in advance. You pay when used. However, I think once you are on the ship, you cannot cancel. They are hard to get, but people often cancel directly before the cruise, so keep your eyes open! Worth the cost.
