@@kenny808kine8 facts and the only thing she ever really had over Venus is her overall serve because her ground strokes are as deadly and her net play is even deadlier than Serena’s.

Venus is very underrated. H2H she has the best score against Serena, and also in terms of number of titles, she is the player who comes after Serena, yet she does not get the attention from the media as other players. One would wonder why.

Just proves how when they say each other was their greatest rival it wasnt just flattery to their sister . Venus certainly helped mould the greatest of all time . And was no chump change herself! Was so pleased to see her resurgence in 2017 making 2 slam finals and a sf when so many had written her off . Thank you for the video! Keep them coming :)

Bruh these two powered through to a lot of finals to face off that’s freaking remarkable! These girls today win one title then fades for two years then back again

I felt so bad for Venus when she congratulated her sister at the AO 2017 and mentioned that many of her losses are in Serena’s wins.

It always seems to look like Venus is always happy when Serena wins, but Serena is always upset. But in order to be the champion that she is, Serena must treat and keep her fighting spirit against everyone, including Venus. She’s more selfish and hungry between them. She’s more hurt at every lost. She’s more willing to see herself at the finish line. Serena is more vulnerable between their matches, but really tried hard to not show any emotions. But still, a legendary pair.

Venus had a lot of trouble playing her sister emotionally, serena not so much. That was the difference between their success. Serena wouldn’t let anything get in her way. In 20 years we’re gonna look back in awe of what they’ve done and how long they stuck around. Maybe in 20 years they’ll still be kicking ass on the tour 😅

@@bklynfinesse8709 it was visible for serena, especially against her sister earlier in her career. Venus seemed happier if serena won rather than herself. She never looked happy when she beat serena but was always happy for her if serena won. That’s older sister instincts taking over

I can guarantee u if Venus was the one winning most of these .... the sister relationship would have seen strained times . Not once on losing to Venus does Serena want to look her sister in her eye while shaking hands and it's Venus who makes the effort to lighten things up every single time . As a younger sibling I know for sure that if my brother beat me at something I loved I would never be able to feel as much love towards him . As an older brother they tend to let go easier

Most of what Richard Williams said came true both became num 1 both were 1 and 2 in the rankings and both dominated tennis 👍👏💕

I love Venus and have done since she started and I still believe she has one more Wimbledon win to come!!

Let's be real, the 7 matches difference is less than the ammount of matches that Venus lost to Serena only because she cared for her sister, unlike Serena. If Venus cared for playing and not for her sister, she would lead HTH.

Did I count this right? Only 4 match points ended in winners and at 2 tournaments? Both matches at the 2009 WTA Finals and 2015 and 18 U.S. open?

Nobody told me the Serena slam happened by beating Venus in 4 finals in a row!!

In 2013-2016 no ones was touching Serena! She was on a rampage!

You can just about always tell when Serena loses she's often glum,where as Venus mostly behaves the same when or lose 🙂

and this championship Mentality that Serena has, has carried her to 23 GS. Lose to no one, not even your older sister.

Serena learned to have class from her sister Venus. It took her some time long after the 2002-2003 era of the Williams sister dominance. Just to be able to get to dominant in the Slams like that as sisters in singles ALONE is INCREDIBLE. DOUBLES was just icing on the cake.

@@RameshKumar-ud5uk same. When serena wins, Venus is happy as can be, when venus wins serena pouts and Venus can’t enjoy her win and feels bad for beating her little sister. Venus gave her too many wins in the beginning bc she dominated serena at first and felt bad. Then once serena got better she couldn’t catch back up most of the time. And serena has never thought once about having to beat her sister. She values winning over family. Venus has very strong big sister instincts and that was what hindered her from being the greatest of all time
