Leonardo--a 40 year old Serena a year away from WTA tennis, with 3 matches under her belt versus a 19 year old top-10 ranked girl. What would you expect??

Maybe if the crowd cheers her more, her exuberance and smile may return. What a wonderful talented young lady.

Emma played sensational, consistent tennis from start to finish. 2nd set, Serena really did play as she got to 30 all in most cases esp on Emma's serve. The major difference was Serena no longer knows how to play the *BIG POINTS* or have the confidence. Therefore, Emma kept edging her out at 40-30 and boom game Emma. Case closed.

@@black_nebula so far man you are right. I dont sugarcoat. Cincinatti was literally 2wks ago and in the world of tennis all that matters is *NOW!* This was the BEST i've seen Serena move for 2022 so far. She had nerves for sure the 1st 5gms of the 1st set, but after Serena settled down and stopped double faulting/UFE, she began to take over. Emma last night not so much. She allowed herself to be totally frustrated by Cornet instead of finding solutions and dictating from the baseline. We knkw she has the weapons, its why she won last yr. But make no mistake tho. Serena played a player ranked #89 who wasnt ready for the big lights which is why Kovonic is a journeyman still at 27. Serena starts off slow like that against a top ranked player, she will be blown off the court. Emma was playing a wily, cagey vet in Alizè Cornet who was a former top 10 player. She knows how to play and frustrate young players like Emma who only have 1 speed. Serve, pop and BANG! So it wasnt shocking to see Emma upset. By the 2nd set, she wanted to get the hell off court instead of digging in to FIGHT!

Everybody Hating on Serna really need to Shut The F#ck Up. If it wasn't for the Williams Sisters, women tennis won't be where it is TODAY!!!!! What you really need to do is say good bye the Miss Raducanu, because she gone and AIN'T COMING BACK!!!!! I'd suggest you all with "Yellow Fever" buy a Fleshlight and get off!!!

A bagel, lol, the number one players of the 90s and even genuine of this era like Henin, never got so humiliated in their career as Serena Williams. Particularly the match against Harmony tan was epic humiliation

Emma gave her a bagel and outplayed her. Yet the highlights show 23 points won by Serena and only 18 points of raducanu. Unfair. Don’t know what are you trying to prove. Probably you can be happy seeing this

It's true that Emma played a great tennis, but many points were unforced error of Serena in the first or second shot, shots that I didn't include in the highlights video.

Dear, Emma did not give queen Serena a bagel and outplayed her. It is Serena who did that to herself. Serena said it clearly that earning titles is not her priority any more. Her family now is her priority. She just want to play few matches before officially retiring. I hope the picture is clear now.🌹

Why is it politically incorrect to simply say the truth: which is: Serena has been one if not the best female ! #McEnroe tennis player of all times, but now she is 40 pounds overweight and it would be hilarious if she would currently win anything on the womens tour, and what is even worse by her recent performances in Wimbledon and the US she is destroying her legacy which is a shame….note : people like Roger Federer would not even remotely consider a comeback if he would be anywhere near Serena’s current physical condition…and yes her final handshake= long arm= do not want to have anything to do with you #bodylanguage tells you she was really angry at Raducanu for letting everybody know how miserably she,currently plays…, which is obviously her own fault see above

Emma did not outplay great Serena. It was the latter who defeated herself, and that's ok. Serena is not going for the titles, she just want to play few matches.
