Not advisable, it clogs your pores. and for those it works for, might be working for now but in the long run its going to mess up your skin

Yes! I do. I stopped using it in my hair in the summer because it was drying my hair. It does work in the winter, but not in the summer months when it's very hot.

Dear Serena I won't be going to London anytime soon and I don't even think that I could afford some of the serums or creams maybe the coconut oil but I don't even think that I could afford to buy these serums because they are very expensive maybe I can substitute and buy whatever they have in America but you know it would be best for you to make a pictorial about things that we can get right here in the United States some of us don't fly all around the world and cannot afford to fly all around the world not giving you no shade or hate but I don't think that you thought about things clearly

Have gotten three of my acne struggling friends on it as well... gotta stick with it, not one or two nights.. Read somewhere that it actually helps reset your body oil production. When your skin seems SO oily, it's over producing cause it hates the moisture its currently getting... not a doctor but after ten + years of HATING my skin, now my period is the only time I get a few patchy breakouts around my chin. I buy BUCKETS from the health food store and have been on it for 3+ years now!

dermatologist & many articles online, like this one www.byrdie.com/face-mist-dry-skin toners/mists are water based and have humectants, humectants draw moisture from the air or if you live in a dry climate from deeper layers of your skin so if youre misting and not applying an occlusive to seal it, it'll evaporate. this is why ( if you google ) dermatologists will tell you to apply moisturizer or hydrating serums to DAMP skin and apply something on top xo

Gerala Ham any aesthetician or dermatologist will corroborate that. Use a mist after you cleanse but not to ‘set’ your skincare. You can absolutely use it throughout the day to refresh your skin and makeup but at night it’s not going to do anything, waste of product and yup if used last it can definitely dry you out

I used pure coconut oil for years too. Have you tried using a cleansing balm that emulsifies with water and rinses clean? It works so much better, and you don't have to do the extra step of wiping it off with a washcloth because it just rinses off completely. I love the Clinique Take The Day Off, but there are so many options out there.

Sometimes pure oils w/o emulsifiers that are non-comedogenic (jojoba oil, hempseed, mineral) can be better for eczema-prone or sensitive skin ppl because emulsifiers and surfactants still have the potential of disrupting the moisture barrier and further sensitizing + drying out the skin

I doubt that she is hurting the child in any way by rubbing “mom’s skincare”... I am still alive and my mom used to let me put her lipstick, and her creams all over my face (literally cause I wanted to mimic her while she would do her makeup)... then she would just wash my face and life continues XD. I doubt she would hurt her child. No worries :). Children sometimes love to mimic their parents like wearing your mom’s high heels etc...
