In the meantime izotope does the exact same thing with the same quality (might be even better from what i just heard on this video from serato)

@@jimmypierson1980 Yea I got the RX9, seems like the algorithms for the Serato have less artifacts. Would be nice if they just add it to Serato Sample, I mean I was an early adopter of that VST and didn't think they were going to add more than the original cue points so let's not lose hope lol

@@alchemistrpm82 Yes thats how it was in the early Serato Sample. It was designed to look like the DJ controllers but then I guess they realized that midi controllers for production have 16 pads or more. Lol

man that is crazy how you can pull elements out the sample...that sample fire tho...sheesh! I really wish they implement that feature in the sample plugin too...

I started serato studio about 8 months ago and it is my center piece. I love it. It has limitations but it can only get better.

Unbelievable what we can do today. The time-stretching is unreal! It’s amazing enough that we can pull drums and/or bass from a mix…insanely amazing really. It’s only a matter of time before algorithms can differentiate between background vocals & guitar/keys/synths…etc. I’ll bet if the vocals had been a lead vocal instead of background harmonies and panned center, they’d have zapped right out.

this is genuinely amazing. ive had izotope rx7 for a minute so i knew about the separation thing but having actually inside a daw (im guessing thats what serato studio is) is truely game changing. thank you!

That's what serato studio is and does indeed, Coming from a proud serato studio owner, no other daw make it look so easy as serato studio does, period, and it keeps getting better and better with each update.

when you said they leveled up sampling, I had to pay attention because you. And damn, their ability to separate audio looks to be at least one of the best out there right now. That worked very well. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for finally checking out SeratoStudio! I've been lucky to try the public beta of it 3years ago and it has saved my life! It removed all the technical limitations to sampling and music making (except for MIDI chord progressions which I use ChordPrism for! So those two together er the easiest and most fun to use ever. It gets me into flow state like no other software or hardware)

i been making music for years and have known how to read music since i was twelve (now 33) but i could not make beats to save my life until i discovered serato studio.... its jus made the whole process so much easier....

Yoooo, It’s next level, I was kinda surprised that it’s not in the Serato Sampler plug-in. I love how Serato studio can use the typing keyboard as a midi keyboard sampler

Me too sometimes, it's indeed a great combo, specially the fact that you can record the desired stem into the mpc at the desired bpm, all matched without the need of the extra work having to look for the bpm in the mpc and having to timestrech or warp, but sometimes I also like to work and make beats in serato studio only because you can lay ideas so much faster than any other software or daw.

Koala sampler has this feature now. Go check it out. It's super budget friendly. Like under $10 for the app and extra features.

Cool that it has a built in filter to take out drums. Expands the possibilities on sampling other parts now.

I have been doing the stems and instrument removal using VirtualDJ but this is an excellent integration I use Serato studio with my MPC One as well works lovely as a pad controller with no setup, but often find myself resampling all the chops into the MPC at the end to actually make a beat, can't wait for the release.

Me too. I make and chop up stuff in Machine use all the plugins I want then resample in to my MPC.

That's incredible I've been able to do this for a while I've been using the izotope editor. But I am an MPC live 2 lover, and if akai put this inside their beat machines, that machine would be eeeeeepppiiiccccc.

Big fan of Serato. They've updated that daw with hella useful features from launch a few years ago. Studio is like Sample, but on steroids. 💪💯

game changer. I have a few classics that are messed up by some drum samples that come in just before my melody sample ends.

Between this and that new ability to separate the individual instrument tracks (as best it can) this may be the most powerful beat making tool right now. Throw it into whichever version of MPC you have to get those new AIR fx and the Mini D and we have a new golden age. Thank you for attending my Ted talk.

The free version is limited, if you want all of the functionalities of serato studio you have to either subscribe montly, or buy the full version like I did couple years ago.

@@derekcarney You're welcome bro, even though I discovered serato studio a couple years back through a DJ Jazzy Jeff youtube video where he made a beat with it, I was sold by then, and I went and bought the full version of serato studio, I'm glad more people are getting to know serato studio, and believe me, while some DAWs are getting worse and more complicated, serato studio came a long way and keep getting better and better with each update, and keep it simple and user friendly in the process, I never regretted buying the full version specially now with the live stems feature 🔥🔥🔥 even thought I own a mpc live 2 wich i'am a fan of, and a native instruments Maschine mk3, yet none of those machines or any DAW on the market have the workflow that serato studio has, or the features like the timestrech capabilities and the stems feature that serato studio have. In my opinion one of the best, or better yet it is the best DAW that I ever used and probably will ever use. Respect to other DAWs but for me serato studio beats them all.

BROOO THAT SAMPLE PACK, I JUST LOOPED IT ON MY PHONE WHILST IM LAYING IN THE DARK BLOWN AWAY BUY IT. 6TeenLevels 🤯🤯🤯🤯 Golden Vintage 🤯🤯🤯🤯🚀🚀🚀🚀 Makes me want to compose like that then sample. 🏆

DAMN great video!!! as a serato user for DJing since about 2006 I can agree with you that the pitching has the best sounds out of all the DJ software. I use Serato sample every day and I love it, this makes me want to try the studio software! Myy prediction is that we may have the stems feature in the MPC soon enough! I did request it as a feature suggestion hopefully others will follow.

i do mashups and i used to use Rip x for stemming .Very good when it works.When stems at long last came to Serato dj i looked forward to when we would have it on Studio.Since rip x and studio and now stems built in on studio i have had a splurge of creativity .God help me when i can access my vinyl collection ,currently in storage,again.There has been some amazing beats i have wanted to isolate for years.I may never leave the studio .
