Thank you for the demo. Wish the sequence was something simpler so that I could understand what is happening. Thanks.

Yeah my bad on that. Thanks for the feedback, I'm always open to hearing how I can make my videos more informative and clear.

Great demo... but wow that sequence in the middle was nuts. No idea what was going on when you were changing things.

Thanks! Do you mean the chord/arpeggio area?

This was such a great demo of what you can do with sequential switches. Thank you! I’d absolutely love to know how you did those drums during the Chord Arpeggios part of the video. That whole bit was absolutely gorgeous and the percussion really tied it all together ❤

Thanks! Yeah that bit turned out really nice. I remember the drums were all squid salmple with some modulation on the speed/pitch of the samples to give them that watery effect (maybe envelopes? I don't quite remember)

@@RobotsAreRedthanks for the quick reply! lol I had a feeling you were gonna say it was squid salmple. So many things seem to be calling me over to that sampler. Do you have a preference for that one over others? I haven’t quite gotten along with the bitbox micro and am looking for a nice replacement. Basically between the squid and the 4ms Sampler (not STS) rn

@@analogueghostmusic I really wanted a sampler that can sample on the fly and be ready to play immediately. I first tried that really old doepfer 8-bit sampler and it just wasn't what I was looking for. The squid salmple has been great so far. I feel like i still haven't used it to it's full potential yet and have mostly been using it for just drums. Though it is super easy to load samples onto it too. I recorded and moved over samples from my favorite outboard drum machines and it's been great. I also couldn't do the live sampling without Pam's, so that has been vital as well. What I love about ALM stuff is they can go really deep, but they aren't too over complicated to use them for the simple stuff.

@@RobotsAreRedreally appreciate the thoughtful reply ☺️ may have to pick one up and have a go with it, then. Were the samples you used here in this vid yours or defaults on the USB? I absolutely loved those sounds haha

@@analogueghostmusic I don't quite remember, but if I were to guess it was stock samples but edited parameters and cv stuff.

What FX module are you using from 13:15 on until the FX section of your video ends at 17:45 ? It sounds Amazing!!! Are you using two FX modules? Groovin' ideas you're showing here. I would love to see and hear more. 🎶💥🎛👏🏽✨❗

At 13:15 it is the same effects I explained at 11:49. All the drums mix together and are patched into SSF Autodyne Compressor. Then that is patched into the Quad Switch input. The outputs are: 1: Mutable Instruments Beads 2: Mutable Instruments Shelves Band and Low Pass Filters mixed together 3. QuBit Data Bender 4. After Later Audio Dirty Laundry

Thanks for the video! Do you recall what was patched to Reset In on the 151 on your initial demo? I've been trying different sources but am unable to reset it back to I/O 1. Thus far I have been using it as a 1IN/2,3 &4 OUT. Any help is appreciated!

That seems really strange that it doesn't reset back to one. I was just using Pams in my video to reset back to one. I would suggest shooting an email to Doepfer, you may have a buggy module.
