When Sepultura came to South Africa I was unable to attend the concert... My buddies went to a signing... Phoned me just as they got to the tables... Said "Dude... We have a surprise for you..." Then handed the phone to the band... They were super cool and spoke some shit with me on the phone while they signed autographs... What amazing friends I have... :D

When I listen to this song it makes me feel like I can take on the world. Even now that I’m going through so much emotional pain. I’ve been in denial that I’m at the bottom of a huge pit of depression. My husband died 3 months ago from a drug overdose. Fentanyl laced meth. I’m barely beginning to process the grief of his death. He was a good man. It didn’t make him a bad person because he was a drug addict. Traditional therapy is a waste of time. I don’t know where I’d be without my music. Chaos A.D. was released on this day 9/2/93. It's the fifth studio album by Brazilian heavy metal band Sepultura, via Roadrunner Records. The album saw a stylistic departure from the band's death metal style, by featuring a new groove metal sound, while still retaining thrash metal. Chaos A.D. is also Sepultura's only album on Epic Records, who handled its release for North American distribution, as well as the first album to feature Paulo Jr. on bass after having played with the band in a live capacity for several years.
