How are the TrigMic's working out, mine should arrive within the next couple of days...thanks for reviewing them I would never have found out about them otherwise. They seem to do a good job in this video, any other issues you have found with them besides fog? Have you tried uploading your own sounds yet to these triggers? Have you also heard of another type of trigger, basically a direct Axis E-Kit rip off that you can use on any pedals, i cannot recall the name right now...

TricMic works very well so far! Another source of trouble may be intense light light stroboscope lightning e.g. but I didn't have the chance to test that yet. Yes, I uploaded my own sound - in the review video I already used my personal sample. And the "Axis ripoff" is called Pedal Trigger I think ;)

Nechtan. How long did it take for you to get used to your pearl demon drives?

Not that long! I played Pearl Eliminators before that and when I got the DDs I tried to set them up as close as possible to the settings of the Eliminators and also used the same beaters. So the difference was minimal - with my settings the DDs feel very similar to chain driven pedals minus the lag.

Amazing, totally tight, Just got some Axis Sonic Hammers, they feel awesome...have you tried any different beaters? I had no idea how much difference it would make!! (If you could, have a quick look at my vids, ive just started to get fast on the pedals,).

Beaters make a lot of difference! I used different beaters in the past but for many years I have now used the Sonor beaters because they are light and have a one side with a plastic surface which results in a good attack. In my experience it is very hard to get used to new beaters.

Im really liking the new beaters, ive also had to tighten my springs on my pedals too, Pearl Demonator, (Not direct drive though), and im getting alot more response on the kick back for doubles, i was really struggling with this this, but now, i am finally getting t understand and get the feel for fast doubles, my next vid, i think i will try to include what i am doing with doubles, or at least try!! Thanks for replying, youve been a great inspiration for my drumming.
