I completely disagree. This is song from a man to a woman. He is trying to be strong and chivalrous by telling her that he’ll leave so she can be unbothered by her. Yet he is clearly hurt and reminisces over the past. Rana has a nice voice but this is not a song for a female singer. Same thing for a lot of Gogoosh songs. Imo, they get ruined when sang by men

كاورهايى كه از ترانه هاى قديمى فارسى دارى خصوصا كارهاى هايده خيلى به دل ميشينه، ولى با كاورهاى انگليسى اصلا ارتباط برقرار نميكنم هر چند اصل موزيكها رو خيلى دوست دارم شايد جاى خالى يه گيتار خوب توشون خاليه

She may sing the song pretty but it lacks soul. First it’s a man signing to a woman. She is a chick. The singer is broken but still proud and chivalrous at same time. Niam Popal sang this song and you can hear the heartbreak in his song. She is just singing it pretty but very shallow.
