Hi Abbey, I'm a new follower and I wanted to thank you for the K18 shampoo and mask recommendations. I somehow severely damaged my hair trying new products. It was impossible to detangle without breakage. Then a friend recommended almond oil and it softened it but it actually looked worse, like wool, not like hair.I started using K18 mask and after the 4th treatment I noticed a very slight improvement. Then yesterday was my 5th treatment and suddenly I recognize my hair again. A huge improvement. Even wet I could tell my old hair was back. No longer straw nor wool but normal hair. I'm so relieved!! Thank you so much!!

I love living proof! Their advanced clean dry shampoo is my all time favorite dry shampoo, I bought recently a set that includes it plus the full size triple bond complex and triple detox shampoo which are all great. Hi Abby, I wanted to get your opinion on using volumizing shampoo & conditioner sets for Fine, Thin and dry hair. I know even though you have fine hair you have a lot of it so you probably haven’t needed to try volumizing products. I have also heard that volumizing products can dry out your hair. But there is a guy on KZread (the blowout professor) that really recommends Redken Volume Injection line(the pink bottle) OR the IGK Extra Love Volume & Thickening line. I really would love the volume help but I can’t afford to use anything that dries my hair. Do you know anything about either of these lines? Would they be drying? Can you give me your thoughts.

Have you tried the Amika Mirrorball shampoo? I’ve been shampooing first with the Ouai Detox Shampoo then going in with Mirrorball and my hair has never looked better!

I’m the SAME way about hand lotion fragrances. I usually go for unscented or so mild, unless I’m putting perfume on/going out then I use a complementary scent to perfume. NO floral for the hands. I’m touching my face & everything. It makes me itchy or messes w/ allergies. I’m picking about hand lotions in general. My fave was the bath body paraffin one but they discontinued the full size & I’ve been on the hunt for a similar one ever since!!

im a big vanilla fan too ! dont love the Sol de Janeiro becuase its too strong so im wondering about the skylar vs the phlur! might get that t3 because i have one curling iron and it feels like its too large of a barrel and love the switching out idea.

Is leave in from Redken(the acidic bonding concentra te one) a good one instead of the pupology color fanatic since, at this time only redken is available in our couintry? Just want to know which one is better and will order the color fanatic one via international shipping if its the better one. ☺

I am purchasing the Givenchy blush #1 and hoping to use it lightly for a finish powder to matte out my sunscreen and build it for blush. Not sure if it will work but worth a try. Have you used the Oribe Hair Cream on dry hair? I like to moisturize starting day 3 and oils are too little, or too much if that makes sense.

I can only get all of these brands online and I'm so specific about scents. I HATE Amika products fragrance (sorry!) but it's so perfumy that I can't even use them. how does the Pureology and Kérastase and Oribe fragrances compare in your opinion? (for reference, I really like the scents of Virtue shampoo and conditioner and also most of Briogeo products). 🙌

I have super acne prone & senstive skin. Tret has dried my skin out bad it feels texturized and dehydrated. What is a good hydrating serum that is acne safe?

I adore my Mason Pearson brush and it was hella expensive but I've had it for 20 years and no change in quality/bristles don't shed so it's well worth the money! Love your channel!!!! ❤

I was shocked and bought one called cote d’ azur,aka French Riviera, I am in Canada so not sure they are available in the US..am going to try the other two now that winter is here, snow and freezing temperatures. Oribe gold lust is great for fine hair, speaking from experience. It’s very light and luxurious feeling, not thick n heavy. Add it adds a bit of volume that fine hair needs. Being thick n too creamy is my number one indicator of the product is meant for medium or coarse hair.

Dupe Hair mask for damaged hair?

What about heat protectants?

You try all of these products ( for us ❤️! ) but i wonder how you make room for your *actual* routine, like your established hair care routine that keeps your hair so healthy especially. It seems like with all your testing you wouldn't have room to have a solid consistent routine, consistent results.

I have tried Juliette Has a Gun not a perfume several times with several fragrances and it doe nothing on me. No smell at all.

Hi Abbey! I would so appreciate your advice on something. My hair gets oily toward the end of the day and I was wondering what are ways to prevent that or what products I should be adding or subtracting from my hair routine? I use the L’Oréal everpure bond repair shampoo and conditioner and then after the shower I follow that with the L’Oréal Elvive dream lengths leave in conditioner. I use a clarifying shampoo once a week. Would love your advice!

What about double cleansing? I have super fine somewhat thin hair that doesn't last 2 days without turning into an oil slick so I have to wash at least twice with non -creamy shampoos

@@alyas3953 right now I'm using T-sal for the salicylic acid and the original Awapuhi shampoo. I use corn starch on day 2 instead of dry shampoo cuz it seems like it's too drying

@@1616Marius I don't use the coconut oil OGX. It does the same thing to me, like I can never wash it out. I use the Moroccan oil OGX overnight prior to wash day. It does seem to penetrate enough that I can wash it out with double cleanse and has helped me gain some inches this year

I didn't like the sol de Janeiro hand cream at all, it forms a weird coating if you use even a tiny amount more than a small pea size. It's a weird waxy coating that you just can't blend.

The amika products literally made my hair fall out and so brittle!! Please be careful and don’t make the mistake as me and just stay away from their products. 😢

I don't understand the obsession with Oribe. I tried the texturing spray once and it smells like a strong cologne for men. I'm assuming their other products smell just as bad so I won't ever waste my money on that brand again.

No, I was wondering why these products are labeled "best hair care" instead of best hair care medium or thick hair. I almost bought 3 products she suggested not too long ago. I have fine hair. Even in the online store description, it says it's for medium and thick hair. I would have been a grease ball and out $200.

Does anyone know if Pureology changed the formula from the Strength Cure Shampoo? I bought it recently and it weighs my hair down like crazy! Never had the issue before with that, I loved it!! :(

Great idea

Kerastase is so hit or miss that I don’t bother with it any longer. For the price it’s not worth the risk. I use Redken or L’Oreal since they’re all L’Oreal owned.
