Today, on a Sunday afternoon, let's take a look at the colorful autumn leaves of Gyeongbokgung Palace.
The restoration work of 'Hyangwonjeong', the king's resting place, was completed and released to the public after 3 years. Also during the Korean War
The destroyed Chwihyanggyo(Bridge) was restored and opened to the public. in the warm autumn weather
To see the beautiful appearance of Hyangwonjeong, many citizens dressed in hanbok and walking around Gyeongbokgung Palace
It was peaceful and beautiful.
From Gwanghwamun to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Hyangwonjeong Pavilion, and the National Folk Museum of Korea

Gyeongbokgung Palace is the first royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty.
It is situated against Bukaksan Mountain to the north, and in front of Gwanghwamun, the main gate, a wide six-joe street (now Sejong-ro) stretches out, and it is also the center of urban planning in the royal capital of Hanyang (Seoul).
It was built in 1395 by King Taejo Lee Seong-gye, burned down in 1592 during the Imjin War, and then rebuilt in 1867 during the reign of King Gojong. Gyeongbokgung Palace, which was reconstructed by Heungseon Daewongun, was a majestic maze of about 500 buildings.
The central part connecting Gwanghwamun - Heungnyemun - Geunjeongmun - Geunjeongjeon - Sajeongjeon - Gangnyeongjeon - Gyotaejeon is the core space of the palace and was built symmetrically according to geometrical order. However, the buildings, except for the center, were arranged asymmetrically to bring together the beauty of change and unity. Please enjoy the essence of the royal culture with dignity and dignity at Gyeongbokgung Palace, the center of the capital Seoul and the best palace of Joseon.

Gyeongbokgung (Korean: 경복궁; Hanja: 景福宮), also known as Gyeongbokgung Palace or Gyeongbok Palace, was the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty. Built in 1395, it is located in northern Seoul, South Korea. The largest of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon dynasty, Gyeongbokgung served as the home of Kings of the Joseon dynasty, the Kings' households, as well as the government of Joseon.
Gyeongbokgung continued to serve as the main palace of the Joseon dynasty until the premises were destroyed by fire during the Imjin War (1592-1598) and abandoned for two centuries. However, in the 19th century, all of the palace's 7,700 rooms were later restored under the leadership of Prince Regent Heungseon during the reign of King Gojong. Some 500 buildings were restored on a site of over 40 hectares. The architectural principles of ancient Korea were incorporated into the tradition and appearance of the Joseon royal court.
In the early 20th century, much of the palace was systematically destroyed by Imperial Japan. Since the 1990s, the walled palace complex is gradually being restored to its original form. On January 21, 1963, it was designated as a cultural property. Today, the palace is arguably regarded as being the most beautiful and grandest of all five palaces. It also houses the National Palace Museum and the National Folk Museum within the premises of the complex.

September is the best.
Gyeongbok Palace originally had more than 550 buildings. During Japanese occupation for 35 years, they were mostly destroyed. When Korea became independent in 1945 only 36 buildings left.

@@TheGene1225 경복궁은 더 넓었어요.일본이 건물들을 부수고 자기들 총독부 건물을 짓고 대지 일부를 도로로 다 편입시켜서 지금의 궁궐만 남았지요.그리고 창경궁을 동물원으로 만들었지요.남의나라 궁전을!

@@kbk102 경복궁은 일반 전통건물이 아니죠.조선시대 왕이 살던 궁궐이예요.남의나라 궁궐을 부수고 일본 총독부 건물을 짓고 또 일부를 도로로 만들어 버렸죠.원폭은 전쟁을 일으켜서 받은 벌이죠.아직도 과거를 반성하지않고 올바른 역사를 가르치지않는 침략자인 자신들을 미화하는 일본은 마땅히 대가를 치뤄야 합니다.
I so love Korea. Whenever i’m in Korea i make it a point to visit Gyeongbukgung Palace. I like the views the palace itself. The different color of the leaves. Hoping to visit soon again.

45년전 중등때 향원정 앞에서 수채화 그렷던 기억이 납니다 오후 4-5시쯤되면 사람들 거의 빠져 나가고 마무리 질때쯤 군인들이 순찰돌고는 햇지요

Hanbok is a traditional Korean costume. It consists of a skirt/pants+jeogori, and the traditional composition of hanbok has not changed from the early hanbok to the present hanbok. Hanbok in this video belongs to the late Joseon Dynasty. In addition, the characteristics of hanbok in the Joseon Dynasty continued from the characteristics of hanbok in the late Goryeo Dynasty that existed before the Joseon Dynasty. The difference from Hanbok in the late Goryeo Dynasty is that the top became shorter and the skirt became wider. Nowadays, Chinese people claim that hanbok originated from the costumes of the Ming Dynasty of China, but that is not true. Hanbok is as old as Korean history, and the characteristics of hanbok during the Joseon Dynasty have been continuing since the late Goryeo Dynasty. (Fixing tops with ribbons is a characteristic of hanbok during the Joseon Dynasty and the late Goryeo Dynasty.)

한복이 화려했던 신라시대 금박이랑+ 조선시대 주름치마+항아리치마+화려했던 색감 옛 선조들의 유행은 다 살렸네요.궁궐의 단청이랑 화려한 한복이 너무 잘 어울려요.근데 화려한 한복에 레이스 한복은 과해서 촌스럽네요.그래도 해방후 한복만 고집하다가 옛선조들의 화려했던 한복스타일들이 나와서 좋은 시도인거같아요. 서양식 레이스나 뒷리본 말고 전통복식인 층층치마랑 무지개치마 다양한 한복들 나왔으면 좋겠어요.해방기이후 한복만 우리한복은 아니잖아요.저 리본만은 빼고 화려하고 이뻤던 한복복식 스타일 많이 나왔으면해요.금박이가 화려하긴하지만 절대 빼면안되는 우리고유 전통이에요.중국이 신라시대 화려한 한복금박이도 자기네 전통복식으로 동북공정 시도하고있어요.옛것 유행복식을 다 갖다붙여서 정신없긴 하지만 과도기인거같아요.한복입기 유행하는날이 올지 누가 알았나요.

옜날에 경복궁으로 소풍갔던것, 창경원 에 있었던 동물원에 갔던 생각이 나네요, 그때는 어려서 일본놈들이 궁에다 동물원을 만들어 놓은 것 몰랐었는데 알고 나서는 분노가 치밀었었습니다. 그리고 옜날에 쓰던 양은 쟁반도 있고... 잘 보고 갑니다. 영상 감사합니다. 우리 나라의 갚진 보물들이 잘 복원 되어서 정말 기쁩니다. 언제 한국에 가면 꼭 가보려 합니다.

The name of the biggest one among the palaces collectively called Gyeongbokgoung (경복궁) is 근정전 (Geun Jeong Jeon). 근정전 (Geun Jeong Jeon) means the palace where a king and his servants work hard for the people.

The enterance ticket for the palace is free for the people who wear Hanbok. And there are many shops lend Hanbok with reasonable price.

서양여자들이 한복을 좋아하는 이유를 알고보니 드레스같아서 좋다고 한다.서양도 드레스를 결혼이나 파티때 빼고는 거의 입을 일이 없으니 저들눈에는 한국이 동양에서는 거의 유일하게 전통복식중 드레스와 흡사하게 보이니 좋아할 수 밖에 없다.게다가 드레스와 달리 형형색색이니 예쁘게 보일 수밖에...중국이 기를 쓰고 뺏으려는 이유가 다 이유가 있다...

Korea is a peninsular state and there are many beaches and lakes along the East sea and there are many muddy beaches in the West sea and there are many beautiful islands near the South sea.. there are many downtowns where people can drink alcohol till dawn and several palaces in Seoul..I recommend you to visit a large library at Coex near the Samsung subway station in Gangnam district and Cheonggye creek, and Gwangjang market in Seoul..the famous downtowns in Seoul are Hongdae-ipgu(Hongik University Entrance),Itaewon,Gangnam station,Myeong-dong,Garosu-gil road..

and I recommend you to visit Sokcho city which is located at East sea,and Busan which is located at South sea..there are six beautiful beaches in Busan and the night view of Busan is fantastic
