He loved her, but he chose his country. I cried a lot because of this drama. Especially in the scene when Yoo Ah In told Go Kyung Pyo to pass his thanks to the youth of that time, for creating their world for them and when Go Kyung Pyo responded that he's in it too. His past life sacrificed a lot of things for their country. Even his own life. He deserves everything.

I wish they had just stuck with their revolution story 🤧 I still love the entire series, but I was more invested in their past lives then the current ones the entire time

I know a lot of watchers feel the same way, but I don't think the past story would have had as much impact without the current one. The past one was definitely better, but I was so happy they got their happy ending. 😥

Absolutely love their past stories but I know that my heart would break so much if they keep it that way. The whole drama is literally about what Hwi Young's promise to Su Hyun that he'd do everything he couldn't do in their lifetime. I think it's beautiful that they made the drama in this way ❤

He looked like Leo DiCaprio with that hair and glasses. Chicago Typewriter is a masterpiece for so many reasons, but his character had me hooked from the get-go

When he says "I love you" It just breaks my heart. Because we all know he loved her and she loved him but they couldn't be together. What is more heartbreaking is the fact that she always thought that he doesn't love her and doesn't see her as a woman and when he says it, we all know they couldn't be together

Yoo Ah In is a really phenomenal actor. His duality is amazing, you can clearly see the differences in vibes when he's being Han Se Ju and Seo Hwi Young.

I know many people thinks the show would've been better if it's just about the revolution 1930s, and I used to think the same. But I rewatched it just now, and I understood how the modern world gave it so much more impact. The free world the youth today are enjoying makes the sacrifices before a lot more worth it, but also painful.

LOVE THISSS, Chicago typewriter deserves so much more love and recognition

I still cant move on Chicago Typewriter, this drama is such a masterpiece, this story is about romance and loyalty and them being friends in the past life😭♥️

This drama holds the "MOST UNDERRATED DRAMA" awards..

I really love the ending...it keeps me thinking whether all of it was a dream of yoo Jin. If it was, then there would always be happy ending for all the 3 as yoo Jin knows future... literally one of the best kdramas whether it's acting, ost, cinematography and direction..each character was well cast. Even we feel sympathy for villain.

Yoo Jin Oh was able to seal himself into the novel of Seju, which was the story of them during their past life, that's why the place he was in was like that, and su hyeon and hui young was with him. Like what Seju and Jin Oh planned, Yoo Jin Oh/Shin Yul will seal himself in the novel, gain back the spiritual energy he lost while helping seju and jeon seol, and someday, be able to be reincarnated as well, and meet seju and jeon seol in the real world again.

Gahhh it hurts when he finally admits he loves her and knew she loved him too, but then he left, knowing he had to die and never see her again in that lifetime.

I really hate it didn't get the hype and appreciation that this kdrama deserves. Chicago typewriter is such a good kdrama. such a shame that only few people appreciates it.

No one has ever broke my heart the way they did.

I've been putting off watching this drama but i decided in 2020 id watch it (mainly because the main guy reminds me of Yeonjun from TXT) and now it is one of my favorite kdramas

I feel that we got such a shallow dip into their past lives. If the first half of the series has the same intensity as the final 2-3 episodes, I am certain ratings would have been higher. If it had been up to me, their story would have ended at that tree.
