Great video! I love the Purito unscented serum, I think it has definitely helped the irritation on my neck. I have also started using the Purito cica barrier sleeping pack on at night as an occlusive. I woke up shiny and glowing but most definitely more hydrated.

I use a very minimal ingredient sunscreen when my skin is irritated. It’s definitely not for everyone because it feels oily and remains slippery all day. For my very sensitive, dry skin, it’s the only one I can use when I’m repairing my skin barrier. It is Badger Clear Zinc SPF 40 (in a tin). It doubles as an occlusive barrier, which seems to help my skin heal faster.

Would you ever consider doing a full review of some more Korean skincare products? I know you did the Purito review not too long ago but what about a brand like Cosrx or Dear Klairs? If you’re experiencing irritation I would cut out all actives, such as aha’s and bha’s as well as retinoids, Vitamin c etc for a few weeks and just see how your skin reacts. Then if you feel like you still need an active to treat I would personally reintroduce slowly one at a time. When I had my worst acne and irritation I later figured out it was because I was over treating my skin with too many actives and stripping/irritating it, a common mistake unfortunately

That was a informative article, here area few more tips for people who might have Rosacea. 1. Are You Sure You Have Rosacea? It may be common, affecting up to one in ten people, but red faces are not always rosacea. Dermatologists often see patients who are worried that they may have developed rosacea, perhaps following a bit of internet searching, but they may actually have another condition altogether. Facial redness simply occurs because there in increased blood flow to the top part of the skin, perhaps because of inflammation, sun damage or fixed widening of vessels. 2. Don’t panic great treatment is available. at the moment it is impossible to cure rosacea however it is extremely responsive to the right treatment and can often be completely controlled. Patients are often very worried when they come to see a Dermatologist that they may have a long-term progressive condition. People particularly worry about the development of a thickened nasal skin, a condition called rhinophyma. 3. Don’t spend ridiculous amounts on cosmetics. Rosacea is a common condition which is often distressing. The cosmetics industry is worth billions of pounds Unfortunately the claims that cosmetic companies make about their products being able to cure rosacea are mostly bogus. Cosmetics don’t reverse or reliably treat inflammatory rosacea, despite some companies’ extraordinary claims. So what does help? Simple cleansers and moisturisers like the Cetaphil range and sunblocks such as Anthelios, Sun Sense products or Altruist. Cover up foundations and powders and green-tinted moisturisers may also be helpful to cover redness and improve confidence. 4. Consider Seeing A Dermatologist. Dermatologists are the trained skin specialists in the UK. If you have any concerns about diagnosis and management of your skin condition it is worth seeing a Dermatologist to obtain an expert opinion and place you on the right treatment path. The diagnosis of inflammatory conditions of the face can sometimes be difficult as conditions often overlap. New treatments are coming through all the time and complex treatments such as laser are best done by clinicians with experience. In the UK you can check whether a doctor has completed Dermatology Specialist Training to become a Dermatologist on the specialist register of the General Medical Council. Look for ‘Dermatology’ under the doctor’s specialist register entry details. (I learned these and why they work on Natural Remedy Blueprint site )

I agree with the people above. There are many things that cause acne. One of the causes, which is what I had, is that because your skin barrier is compromised, it gets more easily sensitised by products or any outside factors and you get the acne flair. It's possible that your acne will be gone once your skin barrier is healed. I would definitely stop any acne treatment in the meanwhile. The best thing is to seek a reputable dermatologist and not try random products that people online recommend. Especially if you already have damaged skin barrier, you can't afford any further potential damage or irritation

Separate sensitized skin and sensitive skin. Big difference. Temporary sensitized due to different reason (climate, treatments like retinoids, over exfoliation - aka temporary damage to skin and skin barrier). Sensitive skin is a skin type. Always sensitive, many other skin condition like eczema and rosacea, and also not only sensitivity on the face. Often react to products with perfume and EO. Sensitized skin is temporary, sensitive skin is not.

Maybe u should see a dermatologist if it's accessible to u. Cause at 1 point my skin was feeling dry and dull and lacking and I was slathering on thick creams along with ointments and still it wasn't working. I then went to a dermatologist and because I wasn't moisturising my eczema prone body and wasn't drinking lactose free milk my eczema on my body had actually spread to my face and here I thought it was just dry patches cause it didn't look like my usual eczema . She prescribed me a cleanser and cream suited for my skin type and then I spot treated the eczema patches with a topical eczema treatment they made in the clinic. And my skin healed , I no longer have eczema and no longer use the topical treatment. I am not saying u have it at all but think u should be checked by a professional cause it could be an underlying issue. I hope ur skin is feeling better.

I know the importance of sunscreen and I really want to use it but I have so far tried 4 sunscreens and it all started off with like these raised bumps that look like pimples under the surface and then develop into a rash. It takes about a week for my skin to recover 😫. I hate the way sunscreen makes my skin react. I wish my main concern was a white cast. 😕 I am also on Roaccutane (acne medication) so I know u should be using it and should wear it no matter ur age or season. But everytime I used it ends up with me crying and as soon as I stop using sunscreen my skin rash clears up. Also sunscreen in my country is really expensive so wasting 4 sunscreens is a waste. At the moment I'm staying out of the sun and repairing the damage. I pray to find a suncreen which doesn't give me a rash.
