Your instructions were great. Now I can try loading the sounds I need.

I really like the ability to load your own sounds from wav files. I'm looking forward to trying this with a tugboat.

only mp3. and car ess never working whith boat sounds. custom sounds only for 1 wire aux. trottle sounds never being custom

The Sense ESS1+ sound system is a decent sound system for the price! I run it in my side dump truck, & am pretty happy with it.

I am very curious to see if this works with the Air sounds from the RCPlus software. Can you try/verify one of the air sounds (i.e. the P-51D Mustang airplane sounds) from their air sounds collection will download and play on the ESS-ONE?

The Sense system has 13 different Aircraft sounds and it does include the P-51D Mustang... Sense Innovations also make on sound system specifically for Aircraft which is much lighter. www.sensehobby.com/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=lists&catid=8 I'm not sure how good the new Aircraft system is because I've not had one. Does anyone know how to install boat engine sounds?I am trying on RCPlus,I found the boat engine sound ,downloaded them but the can not be installed.... ESS-ONE+ 2017 module

Quite impressive. I've always wondered... I need to know... I have Windows 10, which I've JUST figured out! Is Windows 11 going to be a free upload, like 10 was, or will I have to buy a whole new OS??

I'm enrolled into the Microsoft Development Program so I get to try out new OS before they role it out globally. I got updated on 31st July 2021 and I quite like it. I'm sure you can search and get Win10 updated for free if your system up to spec. www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11

Teri, I have installed the ESS-ONE+ 2017 Sound System on my model truck. Can the (default) 5 second sound cut off be changed to 10 or say 20 seconds or on indefinitely? Thanks for any input you may be able to provide.

Hey there. I like your set up. I've been out touch with modern technology, as I'm getting older... Anyhow, I wanted to ask you, if you can help me on this. I have a VERY old cabin cruiser boat with 2 6 volt motors. The RC set up is an old Airtronics unit with 3 servos attached and a 4th port free that i was hoping to use for the horn, since no accessory switches exist on the remote... The two motors are fed from one servo running a large potentiometer type, that controls forward, neutral and reverse. I could add a small 7.5v battery for this to run it, i guess. Do you think that this will do it for me? I had some other prospects but fell through... Summer is coming and I'm getting antsy...Thank you for your time.

Hi..., I think the new tech such as the sound systems are not really compatible with the very old electronics we used back in the day. I would be tempted to look at updating your electronics and adding in a sound system with horn would be a great expansion to your old boat.

@@TeriWilde Hey there and thank you for the reply. I was trying to keep it "original"... It's been through a lot and I'm afraid of "butchering" it. The thing these days, primarily for us older people, is that stores are rare and most are web sites where one's dealing with machines and not people to work with...Anyhow, thank you again. Push comes to shove will leave it alone...

just connect the power supply cable of the ESS-Dual sound box to a battery/power source and making sure the input power is between 5v - 26v

@@TeriWilde already been doing that for the last 3 years, had to contact sense and they sent me direct the boat sounds that will load from file. , software is unable to load air or boat sounds to ess dual... say wrong type.

@@TeriWilde hi contacted sence about this issue, they sent the sounds needed converted for my ess dual, the sence software is unable to load the correct files to the dual unit. reports wrong device.. same as the air sounds when trying to install in the unit
