Fresh jazz fusion supreme! I just discovered Senri. The top level of some female Japanese musicians, who like her, are up on pair with the world’s best male counterparts is amazing. She’s the “Hiromi” of drummers, up with the genre’s great. Fusion at its best. Mr Saisse and Mr Sabal Lecco’s contribution to the music can’t be underestimated in what makes this a memorable trio.

WOW out of this world, the whole band is absolutely splendid.

Each of these three performers are the highest caliber musicians on their own, and the way they are playing off each other and working together is equally stunning. I could go on for hours about how great Senri is, but you don’t need to hear it from me. Armand and Phillipe say it better than any YT commenter.

This WHOLE set is amazing. Senri's drumming is technically perfect, but that FEEL that she has is so intense. Even when she plays with a big band her feel never wavers or sounds stiff IMO.

Senri Kawaguchi just blows my mind with how large her sound is. Great drummer. I actually recognized her sound while surfing online. She is the drummer for jazz avengers I believe. Will check now but wow, I can`t get over the talented ladies that call Japan their home. Excellent musicians all around.

Senri is the leader and founder of the Jazz Avengers. She put that group together for a project she was working on. They got popular and so they all stayed together and kept playing

This concert is outer space! All three are monster musicians; Senri is murderous! She reminds me some of Airto fr Brazil.

Technically amazing, and musically beautiful. Some wonderful melody lines throughout.

She is the G.O.A.T! And she still very young too!

Girl - Drummer - fire! In general, all participants are masters with a Capital Letter!

The girl has come far. Always reminded me of Tony Williams in her style.
