Gone are the days of Wired Earphones because we look at the different wireless options but at the same time some times I still wish we had the wired earphones with us, and today we shall take a look at the Wired Earphones from Sennheiser called as the IE 200 that look quite interesting.
Unboxing Part - Looking at the Package you can see the product photo on the box along with some features mentioned on the box with the MRP mentioned at Rs 14990. On the side we have the contents of the box mentioned along with the frequency details.
Once we open the box we get the reading manual along with a small leather pouch that has a few extra ear plugs in it. Following this are these earphones that are very nicely assembled in the box.
These are priced at Rs 15000 which clearly hint that this is not the budget category product and are surprisingly music-only buds which means you can only listen to music but not answer any calls from it. Something different but yes that's what these earphones offer you. By the way, hence these are called the Audiophile earphones targeted only for pure audio lovers.
Another important thing to notice is that we do not have the earphone jacks anymore on our phones and hence would need the 3.5mm to lightning adapter for my iPhone 14 Pro or the 3.5mm to USB-C if using an Android Phone.
Sound Quality - When we look at an Earphone, the most important thing that matters is the sound quality and this is where these earphones do an amazing job because they make sure you get quieter bass and even though you listen the music continuously for hours, you would just enjoy the experience. I was able to comfortably listen to music at the 50% levels and when tried out at 100% level, it was just too much and definitely made me feel that these are just too good when it comes to the sound quality but then you should also remember that you could just listen to music and not answer calls as there's no Mic in these.
Bass - When we talk about the Bass, I felt this is one area these earphones lack and wish sennheiser boosts the bass on these. If you want to listen to metal and heavy bass music, you wouldn't enjoy the same on these.
Comfort - The Earbuds have some amazing fit because of which the noise is blocked by default and hence you wouldn't notice any noise externally. While wearing these I noticed that if someone is speaking to you, generally you wouldn't notice it and that makes sure that you enjoy the music while the noise is cut out.
Conclusion - For someone who wishes to use the Bluetooth option, I would actually suggest to take a look at the Sennheiser IE 100 Pro Wireless because it offers you the wireless feature. Apart from this, there is no App specifically for this product that's needed to operate it while it offers an amazing sound experience with good comfort and is targeted for music lovers who wish to have a dedicated earphone for their music.
