I feel the sound is more accurate out of the box than most other headphones in this price range. Others boost/cut certain frequencies which some people prefer but doesn’t match as accurately, the master recording. You can use eq on iPhone and others to boost and cut if that suits the music you are listening to better and your preferences. IMO better to start with a more accurate sound initially.

I have these, but I accidentally had my pair left near heat for a quite a while and since then the dynamic that was near the heat can't activate noise cancellation :( the other one has it perfectly fine and activates it but the other one just stays as if there's nothing to activate and I have no idea what to do with these since there are no Sennheiser service centers anymore It's not bad without noise cancel but HEAVILY lacks in bass without them

My son got these for Christmas and the left speaker doesn’t have sound when using bluetooth but does when usung the 3.5m jack. Others have had this issue too by the looks of it. Anyone else ever experienced this?.

Try reconnecting. Could be a simple issue. Never had that problem personally.

Yep, but mine worked fine until I did an update on them. They've worked flawlessly since I got them in late November. Now they only turn on for a few seconds and shut off. I've tried everything short of disassembly...

Definitely the sound quality is not great for listening to music, although the noise canceling function, along with the commodity of the headphones pads and structure are great. Still would have loved a better quality for the sound taking in count its elevated price😔

​@@seabud6408I couldn't agree more. Most people are used to boosted frequencies and think that's normal. I like my audio balanced not tipped heavily towards the low end.

The right side of mine has stopped playing sound and i have treated in really good so i dont know why this has happened

The only thing I don't like about the M4s is its only able to switch between ANC and transparency modes it doesnt turn off.
