Thank you. Nice job here. I like the sound of all of them. The 835 sounds good and is really affordable. I picked up two of them for $60. To me, they sound better than an SM57 and give the SM58 a run for their money. Can’t have too many mics.😀

Great review. I now know what I’m buying ... E845, because it’s the best all rounder mic IMO. E835 was weak on the low end but good on the highs, the E865 was good on lows and not too bad on highs. The 845 had good low and highs. Was noticeable during the beat box. Cheers mate.

@TriVos Ahren Specs shmeks I’ll go by what sounds best to me. It may sound different when I listen to it in store. Who knows, the specs may be more accurate then.

I felt the same. The e845 had the same overall character as the e865, really impressive for a dynamic mic, especially at that price point. The e865 is more detailed for sure, but also more sensitive for unwanted noises and more fragile. The e835 also sounds great but lacks low-end in comparison. On top, the e845 should be more resistant against feedback being super cardioid and not regular cardioid like the e835.

I wish i could know which among these ones sound better for Hard Rock singers. We use more drives on the voice

E835 sounds most balanced. Maybe better for male voices. E865 seems best for female vocals.

Im a piano singer ... i have a e935 but with my TC Helicon VK when i turn on the TONE, the sound going a little high and cut in the low too much. So im thinking for the e865.

Using a Shure M58 now. Thinking about buying either the 835 or 845. Thanks for the demo. Going with the 845. To me it seems like it sounds somewhere in between the 835 & the 865.

ya ot a good deal if ya got a e35s for under 100,mine is great getting a 834s next,lol

e865, or bust! I just cancelled my bid on a shiny e815, as it must sound that much worse than the e835 in the video. i'm'a gonna snaffle a e865 - you cannot have too much detail! It can't be too defined.

845 lacks bass damn.. no buy. how about akg d5?
