I have had vertigo as well dizziness. I found a KZread video which advised to turn the head to the left and right and shake the head, also to let fall backward to a sofa. It helped me incredible much and I overcame this problems.

My mom believes this is her. She has had this problem for 10+ years. Been to PT for years. ENT, MRI’s scans you name it. She started this therapy but she said she feels like it makes it worse. Is it possible that she will feel worse before she begins to feel better?

Hello! Great question. There is not one "root" cause. Dizziness and vertigo are simply symptoms, the same as a cough or fever are symptoms. Vertigo is not a disease, just a symptom with many possible cuases. This exercise can help those with consistent and persistent vertigo in standing, by improving your ability to locate yourself in space.

@@neurolasticinstitute424 thanks for your reply. after taking the vaccine i contracted covid - had a heart attack and a stroke - all at once back in 2022. Foward to September 2023 and i had a stroke again. Had cerebellum damage but fortunately i didn't have any speech problems and i still have almost full strength. my problem to this day is the dizziness. saw a multitude of doctors including a neurologist and all they say give it time. any recommendations ?

@@neurolasticinstitute424 I am convinced that vertigo and dizziness and motion sickness all have to do with something of the middle ear nerve, shaking the head to the left and right cured this for me.
