Sir, you mixed both old and new regime tax return. certain benefit like 80c not available in new tax regime.

It's not mix. Both regime are available. So if we talk about reliefs so we need in both old and new regime. So 80C benefits, home loan benefits, 80TTB are related to old regime expectations.

Expert [please let me know that what deduction is allowed from the rental income Rs.4.35 lakh in FY in case, one opt to file ITR under the new scheme ?

You can avail standard deduction @30% and if there is any loan taken for this property, then deduction of Its Interest portion is also allowed.

Simple saving account interest h ..koi dusri income nahi h...age 73. Kya 7 lakh tak tax nahi lagega aur kya itr file kerne ki zarurat nahi h. Pls reply..

If you fulfill conditions then any income from pension, return is not mandatory.

Pensioner above 75 Is form 12bba submitted every year

Rebate is available on the Net Total Income.

I am a pensioner. My annual income is about rupees 5.5 lacs.(only pension,no other source of income or earning, ). l am 83 years. So far no TDS deducted from pension.. Am I liable to pay any tax under new regime. So far no Returns filed after retirement. In my case is it mandatory to file IT Returns.
