Am from Equatorial Guinea in the year 2001 I graduated from the university of Port harcourt (UNIPORT) I lived in Nigeria for over 5 years. Nigerians are more interested in making fast money, no matter the risks. It’s frightening the way the youths only see $ sign . ITS DISGUSTING !!!

In all these, the youths have to stand up for their rights. Youths are the ones that encourage the attractions that are happening with the electorial process. If all the youths vote is right defend their votes, all those people mentioned above will fail.

Instead of them to focus on national building but they remain religious and unproductive in the ideologies But colonial master bringing the North ,south, north and west together is one of the reasons our structure in Nigeria is not pleasant for the future of Nigerians youths

The taste of the pudding is in the eating. Speaking very well and being able to criticize everyone except himself do nit automatically transform to good leadership. Even in his little party ANC, before the general elections he still had issues internally with stakeholders in the party, though this isn't uncommon, but the point is that it's not always easy as said.

Senegal has many tribes but almost everyone speaks Wolof as lingua franca (the language of the former Jollof empire). Therefore people easily understand each other culturally. French is still the official language due to colonial mindsets of old presidents (associating European languages with elitism) but this would change to Wolof soon.

That tax inspector title is not a lowly job. Diomaye has a degree in law. He also passed a difficult civil service exam to enter a rigorous institute for Taxation and Finance. He had his choice of several government ministries after passing the exam but Taxation was his choice. Senegalese tend to be highly educated and most attend local universities. If they are not university educated, they are usually trained in some trade. They also have a large diaspora population that sends all their income to further rebuild their country. I recently learned about diaspora Nigerians building village mansions that cost one million dollars but they only visit once a year. You will never see that in Senegal. If they build anything, it would be a small factory or a high rise building to rent as offices and apartments. They invest in their villages by supporting agriculture and they build modern but simple homes for their extended families

Yakubu Gowon became the Nigeria head of state at the age of 31. The youngest person to become head of state . Unfortunately, he left Nigeria in disarray. Ibrahim Babangida was 44 years. He left Nigeria is total economic and social downturn. Sani Abacha was 50 years. We all know what happened. Goodluck Jonathan was 52. Shehu Shagari was 54. Hence, the youthfulness of a leader is not a guarantee for development and doing the right thing. This Senegalese man became a leader because he is/was against French colonial mentality to Francophone countries. He wants French to leave Senegal economy and politics. And the people agreed with him.
