Can someone use winlink to learn from over Internet? Thinking getting Ham Radio license 🤔

Hi Tom, Yes, winlink can empower you to learn over the internet as it provides a pathway for sending and receiving emails when there is no internet connectivity available. There are limitations, especially in message size and attachments. But there is for instance an entire Winlink course available through the Catalog feature of winlink. It is all text based and self paced but certainly meets the criteria. good luck in getting your Ham Radio License, we have lots of helpful resources on WaveTalkers.com if you're interested. 73 and hope to talk to you on the air sometime. We always suggest operators learn the basics of sending winlink traffic using telnet first. This develops solid operating skills, practices, and experiences with the application and especially ICS forms. Choosing an RF mode, configuring the radio for that mode, etc comes second. That is covered in subsequent episodes and shows.
