I remember the situation exactly, I was in panther at 5:10, trying out a new map for the tank gameplay and it didn't end well for me

I've come to a conclusion that the best anti tank/armor weapon is actually IronHeart himself. I wouldn't be surprised if he could simply defeat a trained crew in a heavy tank, by running laps around the pricks, lol. Seriously though, great stuff mate. 👏🏻 entertaining content as usual

That Soviet anti-tank rifle definitely needs a buff. It should do 2x the damage.

I’m not so sure about that. 1 guy with an anti tank rifle can take down a heavy tank with 18 good shots to the rear. That sounds like a lot but if you have two guys you can shoot it down quite quickly. Also the effective way to disable medium or heavy tanks with the anti tank rifle is take out its tracks first, making it slow and then you can get onto its flanks to hit it from behind. The whole beauty of Hell Let Loose is that it depends on teamwork and coordination with other squads. I wouldn’t want 1 man to be able to easily take out a heavy tank with an anti tank rifle, it isn’t realistic and it’s isn’t in keeping with the ethos of the game.

@@IronHeartGamingYT Interesting take. I noticed in one of the clips you actually disabled it's engine using that rifle. If that rifle has a unique capacity of doing that, more than other anti-tank weapons, that's something that should be considered. Yes, teamwork is what makes the game unique and compelling. It's also the thing that we all feel is frustratingly all to often absent from the game. Coordinating a squad is enough of a challenge and often futile when playing with randoms. Coordinating with outside squads seems exponentially less plausible. In lieu of all that however, maybe a 2x buff is a bit excessive. Maybe a 50% buff is a bit more reasonable. However, at current standing, the Soviet anti-tank weapon is at a severe disadvantage compared to US and Axis weaponry.

You could buff it but it wouldn’t be historically accurate, irl these things couldn’t penetrate the engine compartment of a tiger or panther, they would mainly use these to take out tracks.

@@nathangomes6196 I love realism and is a big part why I love HLL, but realism is subordinate to a fun game. I want all the realism I can get right up to the point where it starts infringing upon what would otherwise be considered fun.
