You can find the exact height that you threw using a simple physics equation. All you have to do is time how long the disc is in the air? It's been awhile since I worked out the equation but I'm pretty sure the acceleration due to gravity on any object is -9.8 m per second squared. The Apex of the flight path is exactly halfway into the flight and at that precise moment the velocity of the disc is 0. So you can plug those numbers into the acceleration formula to find how high the disc went. To be honest, I would have to watch a video on The physics of projectile motion to remember exactly how to work it all out but it's not a difficult problem.

there are factors, air resistance, changes in the force of attraction as it gets further. you can make a rough estimate, but it wont be accurate at all

The ozone is technically everywear but the most concentrated amount of ozone (wich is 3 oxygen molecules ) is situated in the stratosphere and that is approximately 24 km high

Also you need to be able to throw it once into space and then again sideways to achieve a stable orbit (unless you exit Earth's gravity, which you won't)

I figured out a cool trick you can do to throw is backwards pretty far, you need one that can rest of your fingers vertically and if you whip is backwards it should go far

Next time bring two cameras, film from two sides (90° from each other) and use landmarks for scale. Than you could calculate the exact hight with some maths. (Dont forget calculating the angles of the cameras)
