@@idrinkmotoroil9120 I mentioned Korn to my family and they literally had no idea who they were… And it sucks because I want to eventually go to a Korn concert, but it’s not fun going to concerts alone, so I’d have to figure out which friend would be best to go with. Some listen to Korn, but they don’t listen to as much Korn as I do. They only listen to a few songs because I recommended them. In fact, my older brother teases me for listening to Korn :/ I’m literally the only one in my family that listens to that type of music, except my dad - who listens to more of metal bands like Metallica or Black Sabbath. I’m more into the nu-metal stuff, along with metalcore and, sometimes, I like listening to death metal (it depends). So it’s odd having conversations with my family about bands because pretty much none of them know any of the bands I listen to (unless I actually mention Metallica, Slipknot, Megadeth, Judas Priest… pretty much some the big name metal bands). They at least know the names, even if they haven’t listened to the band. But because Korn is a well known metal band, I’m surprised a lot of them never even have heard of Korn. The only person I know of that actually recognized the name was my dad, but he doesn’t listen to them. Nonetheless, Korn is, and will always be, my favorite band.

Too young to have enjoyed them in their heyday, but I have loved them for as long as I can remember from my earliest childhood memories. I have been lucky enough to have seen them three times now, and I will love them until I die!
This video reminded me why I used to be obssessed with KoRn. First 2 albums were on a different level, such rage and energy. Legends who changed the game big time
i love seeing jd just absolutely lose his mind
Oh I've been WAITIN for this one!!!
I could 100% imagine them releasing this compilation as an addendum to WTN lol. Love this!!!!
Very honoured to say a lot of the live parts were ffrom Sydney, Australia. Big Day Out 1994. When they played the Gold Coast BDO, I was actually living in the same street they played at. Irony is, I couldn't get in! But I heard, that's enough.
I really miss their first two albums sound. I started listening to them around late 94 or early 95. I learned about them from a Street Fighter Anime. They played a small bit in the beginning and then had the whole song in the credits. It blew my wig off. There just wasn't anything like that back then. O always felt that Life is Peachy was an extention of self titled Korn so the two albums go very well together. When FTL came out it was a little off putting for me at first. It actually took me a while to get into it. If I'm being honest I don't feel like it's a great Korn album and the only reason I actually like it is for nostalgic sake. There's great songs on that album if it weren't Korn doing it. You have to understand what Korns fan base was back then and what Korn was back then as far as being this gritty underground band with their own style the likes of no other. It had its moments of goofiness but it was raw and real. When FTL dropped it was not what most were expecting. I think its a lot different for people who got into Korn because of FTL. I liked Issues a bit better than FTL but again it was so much of a change that for what it was it was great but for it being a Korn album I was again a bit disappointed. I don't even want to talk about the horrible album called Untouchables. I hate that album with a passion. To me Korn was at their best when they were raw and low-fi. People will say stuff like bands should evolve and blah blah blah I don't want to hear it. If I could I would have greatly rathered they had ten more albums of first and second album sounding stuff. JD even stopped doing his gritty (James Hetfield) vocals ex- "swing your hands at me with all your might!" I loved that sound. He doesn't do it anymore. He stopped after LIP. I like some of the stuff they've done (for what it is) but to me its like when you go see a movie based on a book. The book was so much better but the movie was good for what it was. Thats how I feel about Korn. The beginning was amazing and in its own genre but everything else is Korn light. I know millions of people will adamantly disagree with me and thats all good. And yes I'm one of those people who adore Slipknots first two albums. But unlike Korn I actually still really like most of what they've done since (except for TESF. What a let down that was). I tend to really like a bands first album or two and then they inevitably start to make music more suitable for radio play and it just ends up being so disappointing to me because the musics integrity suffers greatly imo. Like SOADs first album is a masterpiece. Second album to me is not great. Mudvaynes first album is a masterpiece. Second album obviously an attempt to be radio friendly. Limp Bizkits first album is pretty damn good. Second album is kinda alright but third album on is grade A trash. I could go on and on about bands that put out amazing first or even second albums then F it all up imo for the money and fame. Personally I don't think anyone can argue that Korn wouldn't have still been huge had they stayed with their original sound. They were already blowing up big. Same for Slipknot. You can't tell me that Slipknot still wouldn't be as huge as they are today had they continued with the insanity that was those two albums. They'd still be massive. But alas they did the thing they claimed to be against and sold out on Vol 3. I'm sure there's someone else out there who understands how going from Iowa to Vol. 3 is a bit of a shock. They claimed that Iowa was an answer to being told if they make a bunch of wait and bleed sounding songs they'd get lots of radio play. So they then go and do just that on the next album? Talk about watching your heros die. But it taught me a good lesson. These band don't actually care about their message. They just want to make a living. I think Corey and Shawn have proven that to us all. Its sad when your favorite band who preached being against selling an image like a popstar and trying to erase all semblance of identity so that they can put the music first turns into a corporation. When you find out that Corey and Shawn are basically the owners of the band and everyone else is just "hired help" and thus treated like so. Why are you still reading this? Go take a break. 😊

You really just typed out the same damn thing over and over again 🤣. Feel better, Buddy? The whole "Why are you still reading this? Go take a break." bit was hilarious btw! Coming from the tool that wrote a whole damn manifesto crying about Korn and endlessly repeating themself, anyway. I think it would be beneficial for yourself and anyone else in your general vicinity if *_you_* go take a break from whatever it is you're likely whining & hollering about at this very moment... And touch some fuckin grass.

you basically described every event that happens for a band when a record label gets involved to bolster its bottom line. it's not about music anymore, it's about boosting the numbers at that point.
Decades later, they invented nu-metal , and are still the best there ever was
The one band I will always rock out like I'm all alone too. Even tho I'm in a crowd.
We have seen Korn live twice and both shows were amazing! Sending lots of love and warm greetings from Missouri.
Saw them in concert a few times in the late 90s and early 2000s...good times!
Well that was fucking awesome from start to finish! They are my favorite band! 🤘🔥

Te quiero desde el corazón Korn, nunca te mueras porfa. ❤
The GOAT 🐐 this band shaped me as a person. Been listening to them since I was a little kid.
THIS right here! This is what made me fall in love with Korn back in the mid-90s. Literally never saw a lead singer like Jonathan Davis in my life. He was pure chaos to watch and yet super vulnerable at the same time. My very first official concert that I ever attended was Limp Bizkit and Delinquent Habits, headlined by Korn back in October of 1996 at a club in St. Louis called Mississippi Nights - like less than two weeks after Life is Peachy came out. The energy was insane and I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Yet I still remember a good portion of it like it happened yesterday.
I swear everytime JD sings twist the lyrics are different 😂
This is my favorite band
