I lost a pet I was very close to. The whole day I didn’t know what emotions to have, almost as if I was numb. The minute I started listening to this song, it felt like a dam had burst in each eye. There are no other songs that can bring out my true emotions when dealing with loss. Well done Scorpions, thank you.

My mom played this for me as a baby, made it my lullaby. Whenever I was fussy or sick, she’d play this song and I’d always calm down. Growing up, she did the same thing. So now, whenever I have an anxiety attack, I play this song, and I always calm down. This song is everything to me. I love it. And I loved seeing the Scorpions perform it live. Truly amazing.

Who can listen to this amazingly beautiful piece of music without crying? The Scorpions are one of the few bands in the world, who can evoke so much raw emotion. Been listening since I was a teen in the 80s and will listen until I leave this world. Thank you Scorpions, you are a light at the end of a dark tunnel, for so many.

I prayed for the sun in my life and God send me an angel.

I was sitting with my young granddaughter explaining how one way God speaks to me is through song and at that very moment my phone from across the room started playing music and this exact song was what we heard .God presented a message that my granddaughter will never forget.

My brother passed 1/15/2021. I found this on his Facebook page and I play it when I want let my tears flow. I miss you so much Scottie. I hope the music is loud in heaven

Missing my two angels, my son Mohsin Muhammad and my niece Azra Batool. Lost them in 2009 and 2011, respectively. On my worst days, I look forward to finally being at peace and reunited with them. Part of me died with them and I've been walking around incomplete ever since. It really hurts and you just can't imagine what it's like until you actually lose someone who you loved so much. 💔

Five years ago I was at the start of a serious illness , I went from bad to worse and plummeted to 7 stone and was told I had weeks to live . I prayed and prayed and was sent an angel that saved my life, thank you God.🎼😁🤩🤭🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🎸

I have digestive issues going on & I'm waiting for my angel being sent my way to help with the pain & to guide me through it & I hope my grandparents have theirs are sent to them.

I remember the day I found out that my grandmother only had days left to live. I couldn't sleep the night I heard the news. I pulled out my phone, put in my earbuds, and listened to this song all night. I bawled my eyes out. Rest in peace, Grandma. I love you.

3 years ago i came across and rescued a street cat named Mika and he has been my guardian against depression and suicidal thoughts, Mimi joined him year after, they are truly my angels

Its absolutely criminal that the band still arent on Rock n roll hall of fame.

Use to listen to this song many years ago after a few bad relationships that left me wondering if I would ever find true love and happiness. My prayers were answered and even though my wife and I have struggled from time to time, we are still going strong. God sure sent me her as my angel. 15 years of marriage. It’s funny that i haven’t listened to this song since I met my angel 17 years ago. I came across it a few months ago by accident and it brought me to tears. The Scorpions are by far one of the 80’s best rock bands out there. Especially if this 37 year old song can still be so touching to everyone.

I have never been a big fan of Hard Rock bands doing Rock Ballads. Sure, I like several of these kind of songs but I am there for the Hard Rock. I have to say this song and "Wind Of Change" are simply spectacular songs that I can listen to over and over and over. Great and timeless songs. Scorpions pull this off with these kinds of cuts better than any other band. Truly one of the great bands of our time. As popular as they are, they do not get the praise they deserve.

My first daughter was born on June 16th, 2014 at 02:21 AM, and eventually at 06:30 AM the nurse told me I could go home. I was driving home, this song came on on the radio, and I had to pull over. I was crying so hard I couldn't drive any longer. I am still unable to listen to this song without breaking into tears. A beautiful and lovely reminder of the birth of our first daughter.

My cousin Mark was at the Marine barracks in Beirut. He was lucky to be in a foxhole with sandbags. He was never the same after, he started using drugs. He lived for the little things. He loved Jay Leno, and going to Scorpions concerts. He never watched depressing movies and tried to stay positive. They didn't have any treatment for PTSD. I think the psychology was worse, because it stigmatized him and everyone treated him differently. After 9/11 I sorta do what he did minus the drugs. But I watch things that are uplifting. He lost his battle two years ago on Memorial Day. This is for you Mark. I know you're at peace and with your mom and dad and little brother. Thanks for the good advice. God bless.

Always loved this song.. ❤ The Scorpions know how to make a perfect power ballad. This and Always Somewhere.

Scorpions are and forever will be the best band ever! Music nowadays is not the same everyone tries too hard. Music like this will forever replace the music now. I’m a 80s baby and grew up to real music. I’m 38 now and still listen to this because it’s heartfelt and they actually put effort into making the people want to keep listening. I sat beside my late father at 6 years old in a truck with this music playing while we went to get wood and all I can remember is how this music set a certain vibe between us that only we understood. As a family we all go through things but music is what spoke for us. And all was forgiven. Thank you to all you true scorpions fans. Their music will live on because of us.

The Scorpions go biblical with this gorgeous melodic ballad, "Send Me An Angel". Sings you right to sleep, what an incredible job they did, this is such a hypnotic masterpiece of a song.

This was my song for/from my mom when she passed away. This single was stuck in the tape player of her truck. It made me bawl, but I kept finding angels everywhere that she had saved. My mom is now my angel in heaven looking over me! I miss and love you Mom, thank you for sending me an angel!

Haven't heard this masterpiece in probably around a decade now. Stumbled over it and instantly threw me back 30 years and into a crying frenzy. So much emotions and memories connected to this song.

Klaus Meine has such a great voice !! One of my favorite songs !

First song that the algorithm suggested after hearing that my grandmother passed away. I take it as a message.

songs like this me and my younger brother grew up on just cruising around in my old Ford pickup smoking a cube my little brother passed away last November 22 I listen with a sad heart we were very close. I miss and love you Rusty!

Christmas fifteen years ago, I was given the best friend I ever had and the best thing that ever happened to me in my 20 years of life. Two years ago I lost her to heart failure. Not a day goes by where I don't cry and beg God to ease my pain. Not a day goes by where I don't want to end my pain and be with her again. There's nothing I wouldn't give to be with the one friend that made me feel like I was worth something again. Nothing I wouldn't give to see my baby girl just one more time. To get to hold her, to touch her fur, to feel her warm tongue on my face as licked away my tears with beautiful warm brown eyes telling me that everything was gonna be okay. To let me know that all my toxic friends don't deserve me, and that she is the only friend I need. The only friend that appreciated me for who I am.
