Sweet! I was going to yell, "Jesus saves, but Gretzky scores on the rebound", but I thought that joke was too wordy to be audible.
Awesome ride and a awesome video

There will be more...but different.
Ride Eldridge as part of the Feel My Legs I'm a Racer series some years back. Those were the days of 23mm tires and compact cranks had just came out, so I was running a 34x28 climbing gear and still failing miserably up most of the 10 climbs. LA is so great for riding - I don't live in LA anymore but I often think about how epic the cycling there would be on the modern tech of today.

The only other times I've tried it was on my road bike with a 36 in front and a 28 in back. I thought I had a better chance on this set up (34-34), but I couldn't shift into that last important gear!!
Thanks Zach! Super fun route. Really enjoyed it, though the 28c road tires felt a bit narrow on some of the softer dirt. Looking forward to the next one!

This one was easy with so much packed in.
This ride looked incredible! I love how it dipped into the Arroyo Fest event! Will this ride happen again next year? - I'm bummed to have missed this ride! I planned on heading down there after The Bovine gravel event in Atascadero (the day before this ride) but had to go home.

That's a good question. I know for open streets that the orgs have to apply for grants well in advance, so I haven't seen anything yet. I'll definitely ask.
I've been looking for a group ride like this. When is the next one?

Just announced a Santa Cruz stroll Monday, June 17, but LA announcements coming for June 23 & July 14.
The green beer was really good, but did have special side effects!

Any longer and I would have had to pay SAG dues.
Where did you get that shirt? It's so cool!

Ostroy. I think they're out of the button down, but are releasing a t-shirt version of it.
