amen i completely dislike when our ministers say sabbath is saturday... this is just as false as saying it is sunday. Sabbath is the 7th day and that is Friday sunset to Saturday Sunset.. it needs to be said this way no if and or buts.. Thank you Andy

Actual sabbath is faith in Jesus 100%! Col 2:16 Don't let anyone tell you what you must eat or drink. Don't let them say that you must celebrate the New Moon festival, the Sabbath, or any other festival. Col 2:17 These things are only a shadow of what was to come. But Christ is real!

Rev 3:12 Everyone who wins the victory will be made into a pillar in the temple of my God, and they will stay there forever. I will write on each of them the name of my God and the name of his city. It is the new Jerusalem that my God will send down from heaven. I will also write on them my own new name. PS - What is with the symbol of death - the skull and bones? Jesus is life! Not comparing her to the devil, but the devil also quotes scripture and then misapplies it. Quoting scripture doesn't automatically mean what you're teaching makes sense Besides that, atleast she stands for what she believes.

and can you imagine how long a second or even a millisecond is to a being that lives outside of time and matter?. God blinks His eyes and a civilisation is covered by another or left as a desolate plain or recedes into the deep of the sea in Prophecy we get an idea of 1 day representing 1 year i wonder how long that makes the hour that the beast will have dominion with the kings of the earth?

I was raised in A Baptist church that believes Sunday is the true sabbath until I had my eyes open years later that saturdy is the true sabbath I truly believe in my heart that I am correct on this just as many others do may God forgive me for believing Sunday was. When I was younger I used to feel really bad when I had to work on Sunday even though My mother told me that I shouldn't be And I had lots of Saturday's off but now I don't feel so bad because I wasn't working on the sabbath.

We follow Him, not the other way around. It is of another spirit that claims Sabbath was only for jews or is Sunday, etc., the 1st day of the week. Scripture read will make it very clear. It's a gift, so open it (your heart to receive the Truth as you prayerfully study the holy scriptures) True blessings await. Our Father in heaven reveals through His Word., No man has authority over God. Immerse in Him for life. Romans: man is without excuse. Be blessed.

Sabbath is actually Saturday though. In Spanish which is closer to Latin is called "Sabado". The significance of Sabbath may be different but name wise it is Saturday.

@@brucecawlfield4909 This verse is referring to the ceremonial laws (note: small l) & sabbaths (note: small s), which were pointing towards Christ - His sacrifice & His priesthood, & no longer required upon his death. The Sabbath Law on the other hand (God's moral Law) was not done away with. Keeping the Sabbath is the fruit of your love, your belief. (Read John 14:15) So in essence if you keep Saturday - Sabbath, you show you honour God, If you keep Sunday (as sabbath) then you honour the tradition of man.

Why is the Sabbath still important in Heaven? The Sabbath isn't ceremonial-it's part of God's law, which never changes. Acts 15:21 (New Testament) "For the law of Moses was preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath." The Sabbath is part of the law that Moses passed on to the Hebrews, and it continued into the first century AD. First-century Christians observed the Sabbath, as commanded by Christ ("Go ye therefore and teach all nations…teaching them to observe ALL things whatsoever I have commanded you."). Who goes to Heaven? Rev 14:12 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus Christ." You can't get into Heaven without keeping ALL of God's commandments.

The greatest commands are not on stone! Heb 7:18 For on the one hand, a former commandment is set aside because of its weakness and uselessness Heb 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect); but on the other hand, a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God. Mat 22:36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" Mat 22:37 And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Mat 22:38 This is the great and first commandment. Mat 22:39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Old Sunday Blue Laws, just stated, people couldn't have stores open on Sunday. So Saturday, Sabbath keepers, were not allowed to work, earn money, on Sunday. This made Sabbatarians mad, and they opened their shops anyways on Sunday, and were fined. This is not persecution, it is what it is. They weren't forced to work on Saturday, or penalized fir such.

So very true! Wish I could remember that! I'd like to pass it on. I was raised Baptist and have a SDA friend . I worship on the Sabbath with her. I believe in the Sabbath! Today from sundown July 23 to 24. I will worship Our Lord in the way of SDA Church. Nothing about SDA BELIEFS are wrong. I will stand for the Sabbath should I be tested in the end! When we all get to Heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all see Jesus , we will sing and shout the victory. I believe there will be many Christians of different faiths ✝️ in Heaven as well. I grew up listening to BILLY GRAHAM....and I still do.The Baptist Minister Charles Stanley teaches the way I was raised. Thanks to my friend I believe in keeping the Sabbath Holy. Today I worship GOD on Sabbath and Sunday. THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVES WITHIN MY HEART❤ I'm following the TRINITY of LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!

She had the wrong text...she said Exodus 20:18...She is confused. On msnbc Lawrence Odonell stated after this clip,,,The Sabbath is from Sundown Friday to Sundown Saturday. I was amazed. He also pointed out it was actually Exodus 20:8. He also said God was ok with voting on a Sunday...not the Sabbath

Could it be that liberals will be more tolerant and the ones saying "so what you want to worship your God on Saturdays" while the conservative would pressure everyone to line up and do according to their moral edicts? We will find out soon enough.

@Jeroen van den Ploeg The 7th day has never been changed from Saturday, and as Kim accurately pointed out many people still call the 7th day Sabbath in their language, rather than Saturday. The order of the days of the week have never changed. What some call Saturday is the 7th day, and Sabbath is from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday.

Jesus did a lot of stuff you do not do! He was under the old Himself! We do not have to do it! Gal 4:4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, Gal 4:5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. @@brucecawlfield4909 you've quoted a man (Paul) who always kept Sabbath (Acts 17:2) and instructed all Christians to always keep all Ten Commandments (1 Cor 7:19, Rom 6:1,2,15 , 1 Cor 11:1, etc) and you misquoted him - it's _'sabbaths'_ - which are certainly different from the weekly Holy Sabbath of our Creator, Bruce. tell me - which other Commandments of our Creator do you believe Paul was capable of deleting? or did he only wish we forget the One which begins with _'Remember'_ ??

@@brucecawlfield4909 When you quote something do it correctly. The word sabbath in verse 17 is sabbaths it s plural not singular. It isn't even capitalized. If you look it up in a Greek - English Interlinear Bible you will see that it means festivals. Colossians 2:11-23 is talking about the Mosaic laws not the Ten Commandments. You should stop listening to people and do more of your own studying.

I am a retired English teacher & there is no way I misled my students by teaching Sunday is the 7th day of the week. Let the Webster dictionary alone explains that the 7th day of the week is Saturday not Sunday. The 7th day is the Sabbath day the Lord commands us to rest from work & worship Him.

OK. But many Christians think voting is not so unholy as to be excluded on the sabbath. Moreover, this being America, we don't make laws and rules based on one particular religion. Many Americans are not Christian. If a Christian wants to abstain from voting on Saturday or Sunday, fine, don't. Just stop trying to use government to force others to follow your religion...that is deeply un-American.

Run to Jesus, the lamb of God, not to the apostle Paul who had said at one time “Who are You, Lord?” with your questions with regard to the Sabbath. Biblically speaking, we ought to have been baptized into Christ Jesus, not to any particular denomination. Romans 6:3. He is the one who died for us, to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. Once for all, offered Himself without blemish to God. Died into eternity to save us, for having laid aside Himself, though He was infinitely eternal. No wonder for Paul, whom he had met on the way to Damascus, this is what he has said “Paul was not crucified for you, was he? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?” 1 Corinthians 1:13. Obey the claims of the Truth. The one who has said is “faithful and true” Rev. 3:14. “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Rev. 21:5. All that Paul is saying that though the law is righteous, Romans 7:12, “Perfect” (Psalms 19:7), however there is a deficiency. The law cannot save any one. By the way, that is not the function of the law, neither. Obey the claims of the Truth. Paul could not have said a “check mate” to the one who is from everlasting to everlasting. “For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.” 1 Corinthians 13:8. Why? It is one and only, Jesus said that He is the Lord of the Sabbath. Luke 6:5. It is He that said that I am the way, and the truth, and life. John 14:6. It could not be possible by Paul to have said these nor to have claim to overrule what Jesus said. Christ has suffered divine justice. Even the law could not save Jesus. Law can only show how dark the malignity of sin. He was our substitute and surety. When He is infinitely eternal, the majesty of heaven, laid aside Himself, self renounced: “who although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped.” Philippians 2:6. We are no match to Jesus, neither Satan, therefore let us empty our vessels that the Holy Spirit can guide us to Jesus to behold His face who is author and perfecter of our faith. Hebrews 12:2. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. Rev. 21:6-7. This is offered by the one who overcame and sat down with His Father on His throne. Rev. 3:21. Always listen to the “loud voice from the throne” Rev. 21:3. These things are said by the one, “He who sits on the throne.” No wonder we hear on the Mt. of Transfiguration, the voice from heaven spoken, “This is My Son, My chosen One listen to Him.” Luke 9:35. It matters so much as with time you'll realize that there's a satanic power...that has killed, confiscated, jailed and exiled because they would not allow their liberty of conscience to be taken. The reason that America exists today was as a result of that battle of liberty of thought. The satanic power is that of the Roman Catholic church..that together with the civil powers enforced it's dogmas upon the people. A time is shortly coming when you'll be forced to attend a place of worship on Sunday..regardless of your belief or no belief...see this; “The Constitution of the United States guarantees liberty of conscience. Nothing is dearer or more fundamental. Turbo614,yes the calendar or smartphone is a good way to see when the Sabbath actually is,but, if someone reading this lives in a different country that creates calendars differently than America (and I used the same reasoning you are doing) my argument would be to follow the days of the Jewish Sabbath. Believe in jesus,love Jesus,follow the Jewish Sabbath. Always remember Jesus was Jewish too. Following the days that they follow for Sabbath will not be wrong. You will be following the master if you do what he did. to be honest,I was a sabbath keeper before I was an SDA. I decided as a teen (I'm now in my 60's) that if I were to truly follow Jesus,I would keep Sabbath simply because he kept it. didnot know how but I did the best I could with what I knew

In addition, the days of the week were named* after greek n roman gods. Sun's day - Sunday Moon's day Tiu's day Woden's day Thor's day Freya's day Saturn's day - Saturday Sun's day (Sunday) being the first day of the week and Saturn's day (Saturday) being the seventh and the last day of the week.

If you will, please pray for me. I became an SDA around September 2019. The whole of last year has really been a struggle and when I finally thought I had gained the victory I fell. I have fed the flesh so much since then that I'm finding it nearly impossible to go back to God. I do not go to church anymore. I really miss the God and being able to see the beauty in this world despite the much evil. I need what I lost back not because Jesus is coming soon but just for it's beauty and since it's the sabbath there should be double portion of grace and strength as there was bread from heaven. Here’s my list - I hope it helps you too:- By yielding up your will to Christ, you ally yourself with the power that is above all principalities & powers. You will have strength from above to hold steadfast, & thus through constant surrender to God you will be enabled to live the new life, even the life of faith. 1. Confess your sins & give yourself to God. 2. Believe Gods promises to forgive you & heal you. Don’t wait to feel forgiven - just believe it. 3. You are now not your own. Jesus has purchased you with His blood. 4. Do not draw back from God, but daily say “I am Christ’s; I have given myself to Him 5. Ask Him to give you His Spirit & to keep you by His grace 6. Give God your will.

After second coming of Christ, for a thousand years we will reign with Jesus in heaven. We will not share eternity with Him then. For one to have eligibility for that period are the ones who are sealed in Revelation 7. Chapter 6 asks “who will be able to stand?” Those who honored Revelation 11:19 will be eligible. Revelation 12:17 and 14:14 tries to obliterate Revelation 11:19. You are referencing to Revelation 21:10-27 where we have the depiction of New Jerusalem. This is in the light of for having completed the tenure of one thousand years, John the Revelator was shown “the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.” Here in this place we will reign with Jesus after complete eradication of sin once for all. The joyful beginning in New Jerusalem with Jesus forever. Therefore, there is no need of temple. He is our temple. In this temple we will have only what He had written with His own finger. “Written by the finger of God.” Exodus 31:18. “The writing was God’s writing” Exodus 32:16. God has created man in His own image and likeness, if that being so, then He has clothed man in His glory and light. For them to have experienced not the physical nudity, but the nakedness of the soul, He needs to cloth them back into what they had lost. Psalms 104:1-2 tells that He is clothed in glory and light. Once He does that, there is not only no need of temple, but there will be no night. Rev. 21:22, 25. Abraham’s descendants “as the sand on the seashore.” Genesis 22:17. Similarly, those who are not saved, and “the number of them is like the sand on the seashore.” Revelation 20:8. Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him, Ephesians 1:4, could not retain their status, inasmuch as we find strangely that “whose name has not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 17:8. Genesis talks about “as the sand on the seashore” Gen. 22:17 so also the last book of Revelation talks about unsaved “like the sand on the seashore.” Rev. 20:8. Easy to remember Exodus 20:8 and Revelation 20:8. For us now “as of first important thing is that Jesus died for our sins.” 1 Corinthians 15:3. Similarly, now the main point after His death and resurrection of Jesus “we have such a high priest.” Hebrews 8:1. “Just for having looked into the ark of the Lord, He struck down of all the people, 50,070 men.” 1 Samuel 6:19. Will this number could be any better than of those who violate His law. In conclusion all I would like to say, all the writings of Moses were kept outside of the ark, similarly so also all the writings of Paul, and when it comes to that, all OT and NT will not equate to the Lord of the Sabbath to be in the most holy, or holy of holies, what He has written is infinitely eternal as He is “Lord God the Almighty.” Paul says that “For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.” 2 Corinthians 13:8. Jesus is all the world to me. Let us live for Him and willing to die for Him as well.

For someone who listens to the same sermon multiple times it becomes extremly annoying. So it makes me quit listen to it multiple like i used to do. Because i can't skip the "free offer" and also it distracts me initially from the sermon already. So please Pastor Doug, i understand the importance of the ad but not in the middle of the sermon. Thank you Pastor Doug for blowing the trumpet so that we keep our ears on the ground concerning the prophetic events that are occurring. May God help us to stand on a "Thus saith the Lord" and to keep the True Biblical Sabbath which is the seventh day of the week (Saturday), and not Sunday which is a man made spurious sabbath (Mark7v7).

In Norway Sweden and Finland seventh day of the week is Sunday, in Jordan and surrounds 7th day is Friday.

Hi friend, we should go back to the very beginning in Genesis 1 and 2. God created the world in 6 days then He rested on the 7th day, sanctified it and made the sabbath day holy. He gave us the 10 commandments written in stone with His finger in Exodus 20. The 4th commandment was reiterated clearly then. We keep his laws because we love Him. Jon 14:15 If you love Me, keep my commandments. The psalmist says, And I will delight myself in Your commandments, which I love, Psalm 119:47. There were changes 1700 years ago in the era of Constantine and the RC church but we must obey God rather than man. God says, I am the Lord, I change not. Malachi 3:6. Let us seek the Lord with all our hearts, delve into His word and study it for ourselves with the aid of the Holy Spirit and love and obey His wonderful words. God bless.

He told Adam to keep the 7th day Holy? I love how you guys care more about what you call keeping the Sabbath than actually understanding and rightly dividing the Word of truth. How you can conveniently separate the 4th Commandment from the other 9 and the rest of the laws of Moses. God's 7th day has 0 to do with Saturday, and we're not bound by the law fool! God said that. He also said if anyone profanes the Sabbath, they are yo be put to death! Why? Because they were under the law, a strict written code, and the punishment was death! Yet Adventists don't truly keep the Sabbath because its not a law nor a Commandment because greater than the law, greater than Moses, Jesus the Lord of the Sabbath removed the law, and gave us His mercy & grace! Quit teaching were under the law! Hey dummy, than if were under the law, keep all the law or quit saying were under it! Talk is cheap! Just cause you say were under the law, yet if you yourself don't keep all the law, now what are you? A liar! A hypocrite! A deceiver! One who doesn't practice what they preach! Somebody Jesus would have rebuked openly! You cannot teach were under the law and hyoer focus on the 4th Commandment and then go break the 4th Commandment and neglect all the law
