Was there in August 2022,mind blowing, excellent food,wide variety of everything,clean an beautiful, that took my breath away everything, the rooms,beds comfortable, even saw cruises ships docks close to the hotel's, I am going back❤❤❤

Great video! Weather looks beautiful. I never knew resorts were so big. Always thought of them as one building with a pool and a beach. This was like a small town.

Lifestyle resorts in cofresi puerto plata is a lot bigger. They even have busses and golf cars for transportaron from one side to the other.

There is always music playing at the pool, but BRING SUNSCREEN! It is VERY expensive there, so packing extra just in case will definitely help!

Thanks Meg! Don't remember seeing many cats. Might have been one or two that were laying around in the grassy areas.

Was your room air conditioned? I stayed at Playabachata owned by the same company in 2019 and the rooms were only cooled by a ceiling fan.

How was the beach? And how was the food and the sit-down restaurants besides the buffet? Did you have to make reservations at the sit-down restaurants and how many of them could you do per week. You mentioned that there was a VIP bar or room how do you get into the VIP

Great video. We're thinking of booking our trip there later this winter. The resort website says there are 3 a la carte restaurants. How were they?

Restaurants were great. The steak restaurant was by far the best in our opinion, but the Italian and Japanese restaurants were good too. Good variety at the buffet.

We are looking to go here next week. Do you know if they happen to have a decent gym? Can't find anything on it

Yes, at the Playabachata sister resort next door. A short walk along an adjoining path between the two resorts. The path is well lite and there are many visitors walking between the two resorts throughout the evening.

This is not an adult only resort, went there with my whole family and little sister, who is 9. However, if there are children under a certain age, you can't get the hotel room with the pool.

Don’t be fooled by the video. It is nothing like the video.Ask for a special drink and they say they do not have the alcohol requested. The breakfast buffet that feeds the resort had no eggs this morning whatsoever. We where here three years ago and this place was amazing now it is completely disappointing and our Airtransat rep is useless.

the ocean looks murky and the beach is not that nice

this place is trash, I'd give it 1/5 or a 3 star cheap hotel. The food sucks, AC sucks, restaurants are horrible, beach is small and crappy, I was there for a week and didn't have any hot water in my room at all. Never again. Also they try to sell you some scam travel club for like $13,000 Drinks weren't great and there's nothing to do. The only good thing I found was the outdoor bar/ food area next to the pool has an ok lunch. Punta Cana is way better. Also watch out for the Uber drivers, they all stop and haggle the price, it's all just a headache in the area of the island. AVOID this cesspool.

These people make a video to advertise this resort then no one answers the questions people ask. To me this is a red flag. I read that since this became an adult only resort there are a bunch of immature-rowdy-disrespectful-loud and drunk 30 year old children. Too much noise.
