You know she has been confirmed by a bipartisan congress on 3 occasions two of them for judicial positions. She has the same background now that she did then. This is just for show. She is beyond qualified. If she was actually being questioned and not attacked by conservatives the questions from democrats. Might not be trying to let her explain the answers she tried to give with republicans. And he did ask questions. They were just more leading questions than open ended.

That's called being "Anti American". Why? Because the whole point of our Union is that we all agree that we're a free peoples to do what, whenever, however, with little government interference. The role of Gov is to maintain the status qou while we use this time to better educate and credential ourselves, or whatever, and spread the American dream. American, as is America, an Union, UNITED. What you're refering is "Balkanization of the Americas" and truth is, it may happen. With the subversion of Progressions into American culture, leading to the erosion of Religious and dismantling of the nuclear family, States are either Red or Blue. When that happens, your vision of "America" would be false, because it's no longer united, no union exist, therefore it becomes a territory up for grabs for larger powers out in the world. Do you actually think about the consequences of such actions? Honestly, I can't blams you. You don't know how dangerous this world is and how fragile our economies.

If the standard was set by sentencing guidelines, based on facts presented to the jury at time of trial, ONLY, were sufficient in establishing sentencing, then an enhanced sentence, based on further determination of the presiding judge, may be unconstitutional, because not all of the new or expanded findings of the judge, might have been presented as fact before the jury, before the conclusion of the trial. The bias is in the judge's history on the bench, and with subject matter. They have insight to criminality, that perhaps a jury, would not have, therefore, the sentence would be expanded based on judicial bias, rather than procedural law and statute.

I would want her to be my judge because I could trust that she would keep predators off of the street and protect our country in every matter possible. I’m shocked you read the Bible and support someone who cannot send a child pornographer to jail for the highest sentence, I’m surprised you read the Bible and support someone who cannot give the definition of a woman. She may have gone to Harvard and be a judge but it doesn’t make her the right choice. Please be more careful with our votes.

And did Jesus not say "may the one without sin, cast the first stone". Grow up and learn some empathy. Not everything is as black and white like you believe it is. Jesus had a servants heart and came to Earth to redeem ALL US SINNERS. For you to say these things to someone as qualified as she is without not even getting ALL the facts of the case everyone is harping about is about what I except from people that don't even consider for one second that everyone has a different perspective for just about everything and just so depressing to see. Did you not see at the very beginning, that those "sentencing guidelines" from cases like the one you are harping about, SHE WAS RIGHT IN LINE about 70% of all the other judges in cases like that??? Are you now going to say that the great majority of judges are wrong? He didn't HARD LINE her because he was trying to point out that her rulings are not sub par or an "outlier". Try to LISTEN first without your prejudges in place and you might find a whole new world out there.

Hey, John. I’m almost certain the Jews in Nazi Germany would have loved it if our Triune JEHOVAH’s Ten Commandments were the law of the land when Hitler was trying to come to power. All of life is religious. America was founded by Calvinist Protestants, and God’s Ten Commandments are STILL in effect. If the Mohammedans don’t like American Christian culture and laws, they should go back to the third world countries they came from. Jesus is God and King.

His use of humor during his questioning shows us the direction *I* would like the USA move in. Those who do not have, or understand, humor (and its cousin, satire) will be left behind. This was an ACT. The real question should have been WHO mostly Kill Black men in America? The answer is other Black men. That is the one thing that is missing from the question. Also more White men are killed by police than black men. Crime in the black communities is mainly due to Democrats breaking up the black families. The details are public but government assistance is the number 1 reason why our communities are so messed up. The government need to get out of those communities like white communities. The minute they are invited in... the police monitoring begins, also the government then bring in the drugs. With that, the police are compromised and now the system is what it is today. So think again about what is left out of their (Booker and Jackson's) conversation. His questions are too easy and not a challenge. The easy questions and answers do not give an honest picture who will determine life long decisions our children will be introduced to.

Cory through the years has been very emotional and has not established who he really is. He wants acceptance and to be in with the left but he’s not a cool headed leader who would remain steady under pressure. I wish he was. At the end of the day he’ll be on board with continuing expansion of government and increasing power at the highest level. We need term limits in congress. Social media has made this more necessary. There is no shortage of great people on both sides of the aisle. Let those elected do what they can for 6 years max. Overall the Federal government has been dragging the country down since the 1950s. The states were created to take care of business locally, not nationally. Politicians are all Hollywood now. Cory is a good man but he’s not a top level leader. He should run for mayor of Newark. Most of the victims are black men being killed by other black men. Looking at it from one point of view solves nothing.
