this first guy knows what he says is garbage. "corporations" raise prices because everything costs more! you force them to pay higher wages...they pass that on to the little guy. you make gas cost more, the corporations pass that expense on to the little guy. its not hard to understand. and what is "record profits"? is that net or gross? are you going off actual dollar amount or a percentage? i bet percentage-wise that the gross profit is more because they have to charge more for their goods/services. i bet if you looked at net profits in dollars, they aren't that much more than any other year. corporations are not in the business of losing money, and to stay afloat they make price adjustments as needed. its not rocket science and it certainly is not "corporate greed" people have to see that what this current democratic leadership is doing, is passing the buck, in hopes that us, the little guys, will latch onto a bogey man of their choosing. they want us to "hate the rich" because "they don't pay their fair share"... what do the rich paying more have to do with my finances? rich people own businesses, that employ people and create goods and services that all us little people use. democrats want to make them pay more? for what? they will only pass that new cost down to us little guys, by cutting jobs or raising prices to keep their profit margins consistent. if they pay more or don't pay more it doesn't affect what i pay, but yet they want me to hate them? as if i wouldn't want to be them? Dont let them fool you guys. the overtaxing and raising of taxes affect the cost of everything. do not worry about what they say about wealthy and corporations. you should only be asking, "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT MY MONEY!!?" say it with your chest. do not let them deflect.

I didn't even listen to the content of this podcast because I already know that when it comes to the reason for having this discussion which is to examine the high cost of everyday expenses for Americans, no one will be allowed by the elitist status quo clique that makes up the plutocracy that I call the Mafia State, to speak about the ONLY real permanent solution for dealing with the root cause for inflation which root cause is the greed/avarice of corporate America. We're talking about a return to the Office of Price Administration (OPA) system of price controls that was effectively used back during WW2 when it came to being able to tamp down the greed/avarice of corporate America of that era. Despite the great success of the OPA system of price controls, it was done away with by that era's corrupt, incompetent Congress over the objections of President Truman. Fast forward to the 21sr-century and the Mafia State has now become SO POWERFUL THAT NOT ONE NEWS MEDIA OUTLET is allowed to publicly acknowledge the reality of the OPA system of prices controls, and keep in mind how many of these journalists, so called, go along with this diabolical lie/deceit for a paycheck. WELCOME TO THE MAFIA STATES OF AMERICA! My full name is - Oscar Dean Windham, and I am a writer/author.

let's all thank DJT and his judges for overturning Chevron doctrine. not the root cause, but if you think it's bad now, just wait until these corporations really push the boundaries of what they can do. food brands i have been buying for decades taste totally different, we receive less, and the quality is so obviously in decline, i cook mostly from scratch now. welcome to the plutocracy. it never was a democracy.

@@monochromatech The main take away is that there should be an open public discussion about having a return to the Office of Price Administration (OPA) system of price controls which can tamp down the greed/avarice of corporate America. So, if you would please leave a comment, as I often do, asking why there isn't a public discussion about the OPA system of price controls in order to deal with inflation, it would help a lot.
