The senate is a big joke without the Iron Lady of Asia

MDS tried so hard until her last breath to execute the corrupt officials. She did a lot, but the corruption was overwhelming. Nawa'y dumating na ang susunod na MDS.

1992 would have been the Philippines' Golden Age if Sen. Miriam Santiago became our President. Now, even if we cry a river and put all criminals who manage to manipulate the controversial counting of votes in that year...there's no more sense of it. We just lost a great leader and this will go down the history of Philippine politics. Many have been given the privilege of time but very few to almost nothing have exercised their power to help his/her countrymen. I salute to the great Miriam Santiago for being one of the so few people who has proved that whatever great evil our world has, 1% of light may be enough to cast the darkness for good. RIP my beloved Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago..

Duterte and Miriam are one of principled leaders Id see in Philippine politics. I believe FEM as well, I was not around when hes here but the way I see him on videos I could tell. There are more of them out there but because politics are like showbiz, popularity by charisma weighs more to peoples vote and ofc, corrupts will do everything to prevent them on position.

Grabe ang laki ng 50M sana ngbigay man lang sila ng 100k puhunan sa mga hihirap

....I can bet you that they'd have EXTRA money left from international donations...and theyll probably use that for their own "incentives" again -_-. The audacity to even bring up that they were offended that they receive 50 or 100 million pesos when the real truth is that they really receive it. Nagmamalinis pero tinanggap pa rin suhol. Naoffend dal nabanggit ang pagreceive ng pera. Kahit anong sabihin niyo, injustice pa rin ang nangyari.

how can we say that 50 or 100 million something was an incentives and for infrastructure projects if you are a law maker? you know your job/mission... you're a senator not a congressman... you're job preferably was to make a LAW... HOW COME? well, Mr.Estrada was not a law graduate so I understand his remedy but not his capacity as a law maker... God Bless Philippines! ^_^ dapat walang sweldo ang mga tagapagpatupad nang batas, maaring may allowance dahil sila'y mga PUBLIC SERVANT...

Just to think about the fact that they deliberate on the enactments of laws as lawmakers being their only mandates including the allocation and scrutiny of the annual budget of each government agencies, how did it come to be a practice that they are allowed to withold big infrastructure projects as senators representing the national but only to divert on their hometown or cities? Truly the iron lady doesn't only speak about the overall system this government has abused and continuously do so, we still tend to be blind sided because we cater to this type of politicians as not public servants but as demi gods in status.

Malaki man at maliit ang nakawin natin kahit kanino pagnanakaw pa rin yon. So kung hinahabol natin ang kahit na cino sa kanilang pagnanakaw , ganon din ang gawin natin kahit kay nino. Bakit kailangan natin maging selective , kaya hindi nagtatanda ang mga iba dahil may mga nakakalusot . Hindi naman mga tanga mga tao. Tandaan nyo na nalukluk kayo sa mga pwesto nyo para sa isang dakilang gawain hindi para sa inyong mga sariling kapakanan.

Parang hinahayaan nyo lang nyan ang criminal makatakas. It means, ang impeachment ay politically motivated to strategically remove an opposition leader. Ganito kabaho at corrupt ang gobyerno sa Pilipinas. And lastly, quasi judicial at quasi political ang impeachment na ito and not totally in accordance to the law, but also accordance to the so-called representative of the people (who were corrupt and self-serving scums). This is the best example of maintaining power to rule in a very primitive and unintelligent way. Pakapalan na ng mukha.
