I'm sitting here listening to this song after going through the worst day of my life. The man that I loved wholeheartedly, the father of my child kicked me and his son (a 2 year old for that matter) out of his car, in the middle of the streets and drove off. The most painful part is that he had used all my money.. I couldn't even buy my son even a lollipop... If it wasn't for some lady and her guy friend who invited us in(God bless them) we would've sat in the street for 2 hours straight waiting for my mother to come fetch us. Those of you reading this please add me in your prayers. I need all the strength I can get to protect my little one from all this turmoil😭😭😭

I loved this rendition, for me this is a suplication song and it takes me back to memories of very difficult times in my community as child. It was during the apartheid uprising when young people and fathers would disappear and come back in coffins. People would gather in community churches and sing this hymn.
