Man Harris Akbar won that fight, Yurii won the first round but Harris Akbar won the last two rounds. Akbar's game plan was brilliant with his tight guard, Yurii was landing mostly on Akbars glove lol(Akbar's hand's will be bruised after taking so many punches on the gloves). Yurii had a high work rate but thats exactly why in the third round he just wanted to hold. The reaction after the fight says it all, Yurri knew he lost and was not shocked by the result neither was one of the coaches who knew he lost. Your boy got beat take it like a man.

Ukrainian training staff did not agree with the result by which Akbar was announced by 3-2 as the winner and they protested against that decision. As claimed by the vice-president of the Boxing Federation of Ukraine, the bout was reviewed by an independent board and Zakharieiev was admitted to be the actual winner and some judges were removed indefintively from the sport of boxing but this decision would have no effect on the tournament results. Yuri Zakhareev gave duplicate gold medal European Championship 2022. At the continental championship in Yerevan, the Ukrainian boxer won bronze in the weight category up to 71 kg, losing in the semifinals to British Mohammed Harris Akbar. “At the initiative of the President of the Boxing Federation of Ukraine, Kirill Shevchenko, the organizers of the European Championship 2022 made a duplicate of the gold medal of the championship for our champion. IN THE SEMI-FINALS OF THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP, OUR CHAMPION WAS ROBBED BY THE JUDGES, WHICH WAS RECOGNIZED BY ALL THE COMMISSIONS THAT CONSIDERED THE SCANDALOUS RESULT OF THIS FIGHT. Troll all you like but there's no way in a million years that Akbar won that fight😂 there's levels and he aint nowhere near Yuri's level. 3 clear rounds for Yuri, it was a mismatch.

What goes around comes around, Ukrainian boxer qualified to semi final of WC last year in Serbia where he lost to Kazakh boxer.
