I think you’re brave Abi. Some people, like myself, don’t even have the courage to get started. And you’re doing this all on your own with very little and what I presume is little to no help. Your small successes today will only be bigger success tomorrow. Like a great hockey once said, “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” Keep going, be as creative as you can be with your illustrations. Most importantly be yourself.

Being brave is something that comes by taking little steps everyday! When I first got started with my small business I was so scared all the time and held myself back a lot! Then I learned to embrace the mistakes because they were teaching me a lot and I was better because of them! Basically making mistakes is awesome!! You can do it too!!

Aw this is awesome, so good to watch! Just an idea, you could get some Pyrex plastic boards and lay your stickers down then put the board over the top so everyone can see them next won’t bother them! Keep it up, this is awesome!

11:20 If you know the measurements of the table you'll be using tape the size of it onto the floor and use that as a guide for space in future :)

That's a great idea! I'll try that for future markets! Unfortunately I didn't know the measurements for this event, I talked to the event manager about it and she said she's going to start sending the traders the table sizes in the future ahah.

So what have we learnt about our set up against the Wind? Always have: pins, sand bags, sticky tape, rope qnd anything else we can use to fight the Wind. But happy It was a lucrative market time!

Usually you have to take out the cartridge that doesn’t work then you can print in one colour.

The reason you can’t print black and white is because you need colour to print white. My printer does the same

The bigger the market the better the sales. Well done, it is actually so much easier to sell offline than online. Part of it is selling your art and them putting a face behind it rather than online which relies on really good pictures and getting your products out to a specific target market. With all the printing you do I would suggest getting a laser printer (no not a thermal label printer) Inkjets are really expensive to run and can clog in periods of non usage.

I’m currently preparing for my own art booth so this video gave me so much inspiration and motivation

It was apart of a programme to help young people who are starting a business so there was no cost. It was free
