I started posting beats in 2015 and I remember VIVIDLY seeing on forums, Reddit, KZread etc that it was “oversaturated” THEN. I’m convinced that Im first producer to ever make type beats using a real guitar, it was all migos and Drake type beats back then, so I started targeting Frank Ocean type beats and blew up! I released 500 of em!!! LOL. The game wasn’t oversaturated then and it’s not oversaturated now. It’s all about work and sticking to one lane. GREAT VIDEO!!!!!

Every industry or niche is oversaturated. You just gotta do it right

I started up in Jan, I have 0 subs and 0 views on my beats, but I'm not worried because I don't think it could ever get oversaturated, because there is no limit to what people can consume. They may have a favourite beat maker / producer, but then someone new comes along. They don't have to stop using their favourite, they just add you to the list of people they use.

I think it IS oversaturated but quality will always find a way. Just last year there were sample makers blowing up and going platinum from posting on KZread, despite it being oversaturated. The truth is that artists will always want hard beats and if you can make them, you will be discovered.

How do you explain channels that post a wide variety of beats that still do very well on each niche they post? (examples: stoic beats, pilotkid)

How much have you been making on beatstars?

I got a channel that was uploading Afrobeat, but like one week and 5 subscribers, I got 3 months with no uploads, do you guys recommend me make another channel or I can blow up this with 7 uploads but for one lane?

@@coleslawbeats well actually I checked ur channel now and I see u been going for some years so I cant actually be sure. While I had some good prosperity a while ago, I also question if my channel is doomed by age or if older channels are doomed after a certain point. Surely it wont hurt to start a new one to try on a new leaf? Personally idk if I have it in me but if u considered it several times then I say go for it
