@CGQA Is it possible throw some light on what is the process used to finalise the themes in which commemorative coins are to be released decided? Who has the final say on the matter? Is there a limit on the number of commemorative coins that can be released in a year? Who are people involved? How long does the entire coin deciding process take? What is the lead time required by the to mints to bring coins into circulation?

Milan, If you talk about other coins mints havent followed same approach everywhere...So we cannot conclude on that. They have used varied approaches in variety of coins...And this 2008-2009 type is used here only...We find this the most logical explanation...if you have any other do share...Or when you say you differ..kindly explain how you think our explanation is logically incorrect.

First of all I apologise if you find my mail offended. What I mean to say is that birth centanary year was also released for other coins & other denomination as well, where in such pattern was not followed. For 1 particular coin such pattern can't be adopted by mint as there SOP they need to follow.

No Milan not at all offended and no need of apology. I am just proving my point and will prove it further until you provide a valid justification for your point because there has to be something logical for me to accept your point. So you say that Birth centenary type coins usually have one pattern and Homi Bhabha is the only case which has unique pattern which is not possible.. .. Where as I said it is not the only case, Mints have not followed any specific SOP to keep all centenary years in the same pattern and that is evident from the below examples.. 1. Subhash Chandra Bose Centenary Coins have just Single Year 1996 - Type 1 2. Acharya Tulsi Coins have Brith and Centenary Year 1914-2013 - Type 2 3. K Kamraj Coin has even different Type 1903-1975 i.e. DOB and Death Year. However issued in 2004 on occasion of Birth Centenary - Type 3 So here also you will say that SOP is not followed but these all are centenary coins. What do you say about them? So, if these three types are possible why not 2008-2009 for Homi Bhabha according to the logic we explained. Team CG

@@ChillarGyan That's excalty I am trying to to explain the when it comes to centanary namaste either it's 2 different years of which indicate centanary or single year which shows the running or completed year in single year form. Whats logic of starting & ending year of centanary year? My experience says that it was first 10 rs circulating commemorative coin which was misminted & preferably don't want to recall as it was minted at very large qty from all mint. Rest nobody can give full fledged justifiable answer except RBI. Many such errors which more serious been observed that in paper money too 1. 2012 10 Rs note no rupee symbol been seen. Though official rs symbol was seen on all paper money from 2011 onwards 2. 2017, 500 rs note flag on parliament has no Ashok Chakra

#CGQA हैलो सन 1984 से 1990 तक कोलकाता मिंट में 50 पैसे के सिक्के ढाले गए और फिर 1984 से 1989 तक मुंबई और हैदराबाद मिंट से भी 50 पैसे के सिक्के ढाले गए। इसके अलावा 1985 में कोरिया की सिओल मिंट द्वारा भी 50 पैसे के सिक्के ढाले गए। इन सभी सिक्कों के चारो ओर बॉर्डर पर गोलाकार खूबसूरत डिजाइन बनी हुई है। मैं आपसे यह जानना चाहता हूं कि जब भारत की तीन मिंटो द्वारा सिक्के ढाले जा रहे थे तो बाहर की किसी मिंट से सिक्के तैयार क्यों करवाए गए। एवं इन सिक्कों में से संग्रह करने योग्य कौन से सिक्के हैं एवं इनमें से सबसे अधिक कीमती किन्हीं 3 सिक्कों को कीमत व मिंट सहित बताइए।।
