Hi! I am planning to take PSW intake this sept 2021 for a year. As far as i understand selkirk offers one year pgwp after my program. Is that enough for me to stay in canada until i apply as PR. I saw your scuccess vids story for one year diploma graduate, would you recommend that? Do you have psw friends that has his/her PR already through ONE year psw study and they eventually then found an employer? just asking if thats possible because thats the thing that i will be doing if ever.

A bursary probably before you start. However there might be Scholarships offered while you are studying as well. Check with the school to be sure.

I joined their session yesterday and during the Q&A several persons asked about PGWP re the MBA or Grad Dip, they weren't able to answer. They kept referring to immigration website. I think if you are offering a program you should be able to say whether it is eligible for PGWP or not. My guess is it isn't based on the few courses being offered in the program.

I'd like to know as well. Some schools have no refundable deposits. Not tuition, deposits. So if your study permit is rejected you lose the deposit. That turned me off from a few colleges.

Because, i think they will run for just 3 years on RNIP, hence it will end by 2022 or 2023 since they started on this program already.. Hm, definitely practice the language as he will need that anyways. Small towns have pros too like more affordable housing sometimes. Look at facebook marketplace, kijiji.ca indeed.ca Craigslist.ca, etc for housing and jobs. Hope this helps.

Yes - you can sponsor your wife (OWP) kids can apply for (visitors visa/student permit) and most of the time kids get free education here, check the cic website for more info ;) Most of the students that I know their kids get free education ;)

Hi, The Diploma is two years and the Certificate is one year. For September 2020 the program is online with Selkirk, yes. However there might a way they accept you to study online first from out of country because of covid 50 percent of the program should be in class though.

Applying for PR is not necessary related to studying, you can apply right now if you want. What studying does is might give you more points in Education, get a temporary work permit after and so build up your profile for PR. Check the different Immigration programs and what you have to do to reach the minimum points :)

I am 33 years old from India and I finished my Magister in Tourism from Poland in March 2019 and I already gave my IELTS Exam but that is General where I got 5.5 overall. Can i study 1 year Tourism/Hospitality Course where I can waived English as my last study was in English from Poland in March 2019? Thank you so much.

Hi, thanks for your comment. They will have to asses your english language certificate from Poland and go from there. Hello - the COVID cases here in BC is not that crazy - most businesses are now open :) I am actually working now at the office, went back now :)
