Hearing our voice makes me believe that its good to have a self-esteem.
Hey Vanessa, I love your channel. Your science of human behaviours related to success is one of my favourite self help channels. Just one thing that I believe is important : do you agree that often con-fidence is a con and it may lead to success but we must question “should it lead to success?” In contrast ‘real integrity’ leads to appropriate confidence and with ‘real integrity’ based confidence we won’t be under-qualified for the responsibilities we gain. Ethics, skill, knowledge, curiosity, character, wisdom, experience, would you suggest we seek/hunt/gather these 7 things much much more than we do sales pitch method and practise? Yes we must have enough faith in ourselves to start seeking/hunting/gathering the earning of those 7 things as part of our routine and self esteem can help, but do you agree that it should be realistic and based on the desire to earn real integrity and based on us beginning to earn real integrity. By the way, narcissism is not just other people, it is also us when we use social triggers and tricks based on what works psychologically to gain position without earning that position by being good for people. Being good for people is what there is not enough of amongst “successful” people who listen to and read a lot of self help information that only give strategies but neglects to help us develop our character, virtue and good will. PS I am so glad you mentioned charitable helping people as a thing to increase our self-esteem because self centred success at the cost of all types of injury to others and the environment is going to have to die out if we are to survive as a species.
I'm grateful for this amazing life, my family, my amazing life partner and also you Vanessa ! you brighten my day and ignite my mind. thankyou !

Great video Vanessa! Can you please talk about making social interactions more interesting for introverts? I am really introvert but I know we need to socialize as human beings otherwise we end up feeling bad. On the other hand I don't like small talk. How can I feel genuinely attracted to social interactions?
Happy healthy and jouful so thank you Almighty

Hey Vanessa and Science of People team! I love you stuff :) one thing I'd like to comment on, is that you say that the tips you provide in this video are good for building three different things: self-worth, self-esteem and self-confidence. I believe there is great power in words, and that we need to be mindful and correct in the way that we use them. And to have conversations around concepts, we need to set a baseline where we are all talking about the same thing (as Brené Brown often emphasises, the definitions). I am for sure not as well-researched into the science of people as you are, still, it is my understanding that the three named concepts are discrete and different. What are your thoughts on that? Thanks!
I love it!!! Thank you so much for generously sharing so many great tips. I have so many favorites I can name them all!

I'm grateful to see tje new year 2021, grateful for each and every people in my life and grateful to get to know you Vanessa! ☺
3 things I'm grateful for today 1. I'm grateful have watched this video and I feel more confident 2. I can do selling with others again like me in childhood 3. I took my friend home from school together
What's the background tune that plays between the times 7:25 and 7:33? The funny thing is that that could be my anthem.
One thing I'd add is to achieve something. Once you've learned how do something, demonstrate it. Know that when you start out, you're not going to be Leonardo DaVinci. But as you do it over and over again. You'll get that much closer to being like him.
Vanessa thank you for being so great and beautiful inside and out.
this video is very important before anything else to build self esteem ❤️ i really like this video . you have to find such good videos in KZread

But I am grateful for many things I am grateful for my failures I am grateful for the lessons that I have learnt I am grateful for my hubby I am grateful that I have a very positive attitude I am grateful that Sadguru ji came into my life I am grateful that God is giving me wisdom to see things better. I bless you.
I’ve suffered with low self esteem my entire life. I never knew what’s it’s like to feel confident about myself ... as a 31 year old, I’ve reached my threshold. Low self esteem ruins my life - including my job and relationships. I isolate myself from people because I feel like they are judging me the same way I judge myself, so I have no friends. It can’t be normal to feel this way ALL the time.

I don't know if you will read this or not, but I felt like sharing. I'm 52 years old and I'm still suffering from low self esteem. I have been feeling this way since a very long time, when I was still a child. I don't know how but I have worked in good companies and also I got married and I have 3 wonderful kids. Everything is over now because of this never ending feeling; I lost my job and didn't have the strength of looking for a new one, I also got divorced. Everything is not good because of my low self esteem. I want it to end but it is not. I can't bear living like this anymore. Please reply if you find a way to improve and share... thanks

@@abedhibri3870 thanks for responding and acknowledging my comment. About a year after this post, I was diagnosed with ADHD, which is part of the catalyst for my low self esteem. Having the diagnosis helped me to forgive my past and my past negative actions. However, the low self esteem is still there, and I hate any kind of attention being put on me. I’m not sure what you’ve gone through in your life, but childhood experiences and traumas also shape who we are as adults. Look deeply into your past and identify the parts where your low self esteem could’ve developed. Also, I want to try therapy, but currently don’t have health insurance. I know many people who speak highly of therapy and how is has helped them with self esteem and anxiety. You should try it. I hope one day I can have access to therapy. It’s my last hope.
Amazing......Vanessa......thank you so much for this video.........
